Very nice location in Palm Desert and close to many activities (shopping, golf, hiking, zoo, restaurants etc.) and even only about 30 or so minutes to downtown Palm Springs. House was the perfect size and the rooms all nice. Backyard had a nice layout with pool that provided plenty of sun. Some aspects could be updated within the home (rugs and such) but that wouldn’t stop us from staying there again.

Palm Desert Getaway

The property was well shown in the listing. Guest bedrooms great and guest bathroom very clean. There is a step in tub shower which can be a issue. Master bedroom and bath could use a little updating but very comfortable. One thing that should be address is the master toilet Seems to be a issue with low water in the tank Plenty of hangers throughout the house, washer and dryer were great. Lot of room and plenty of TVs. It is Direct TV so can be hard to locate the major TV stations. The pool was amazing, outdoor area had ample seating and shade someplace all day. Very private. Only one draw back. The shade trees dropped these little berries all day long. The did provide a blower so you could blow them into the garden. But they dropped a lot. Being a neat freak made it a little problem. There is a upcharge to heat it as there is a most desert rentals. There was a small problem when the wind was pretty bad and the pool would get lots of leaves in it. But it never got a lot of sand in it. They need to get rid of some of the excess kitchen stuff. No room to put your food. That was a big pain, we were there 5 weeks and had to move a lot of stuff to the garage. Also no plastic wine glasses for outside, we ended up buying some after breaking a glass. Yes, the pool is amazing. Hot tub really was not worth much and had some issues with the pool system. It needs to be updated and simplified. Add a small vacuum to do the outdoor cushions.

Very comfortable home with nice amenities.

Overall very easy and convenient process to book and check-in. Pool was kit heated upon our arrival but the weather was unseasonably cold for the pool use.

Beautiful home in great location!

We stayed here for Stagecoach weekend and had a great time. The home is exactly as pictured. The house has everything you'd need (including pool floaties!) and was pleasant, clean and comfortable. It was less than five minute drive to main road with tons of shops, restaurants and stores. Management company was attentive and kept in contact throughout our stay. Would recommend!

Lovely home in Palm Desert

The booking team/rental company made it easy to book, pay for, pick up the info on the house, etc. They were great and super helpful. No surprises. The home was clean and very nice for the 6 of us. We used the kitchen, the BBQ, the patio and the pool. We bought a pool blow-up for $10 and the girls had a blast (left it there.) The pool was nice and warm (no heating.) All was as-expected. Small suggestion - would have been great to have a couple more rolls of TP, more than one roll of paper towels and coffee beans. It's small and not really about the cost, but I'm so appreciative when it's provided. - Great spot!

Great property

Palm Desert Oasis is a wonderful property. It is well-kept, clean and located just around the corner from the zoo. The pool and the beautifully landscaped backyard were the highlights for us. We have 2 little kids and they loved the outdoor space. Please be aware that there are additional fees once you book. The property is managed by McLean Company and they requested an additional $500 deposit. For pool heating it would have cost us an extra $350 for the week. Luckily it was between 90-100 degrees during our stay and the cool pool was refreshing.

Great Pool and Outdoor Area!

House was exactly as advertised. Kids had a great time swimming and pool deck area gets plenty of sun between 10am and 4pm. Super close to El Paseo for shopping and dining. Great place!

Overall, we really enjoyed the property and our stay. It was a beautiful home. Also the McClean staff were very nice and helpful. The only negatives were the very dim master bathroom and the very loud washing machine, but these were very minor annoyances.

Loved Palm Desert

We had a good time in Palm Desert. The house worked well for our family. The only issue we had is that the pool heat was not set properly, so we were unable to use the pool / hot tub for the first two days. Pat McColery (Pat's Pool) came by and got the temps adjusted properly. I think there needs to be more specifics in the "House Manual" in regards to the pools.

Great Pool Home Getaway

We loved the weekend, and enjoyed all shopping and restaurants close by. We also loved the zoo just down the street, literally a quarter mile away. It was such a great getaway for the family. The pool was fabulous and the house was well furnished and has a great floor plan/layout. The WiFi tended to go in and out during the stay but could have been an issue with the main provider and not the house. The TV's are large and have smart TV's, hence the need for WiFi to be consistent. We would stay there again.

Great house with very nice pool

In quiet area this is a great house with a very nice pool. The house is spacious and even at the mid-summer high temperatures cool inside due to a great airco. We enjoyed the 5 nights and it was hard to leave at the end.
