Our well-equipped, 4-star rated apartment is ideally located, just moments away from ski lifts and the golf-course, in a peaceful part of Klosters.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a traditional Swiss-style chalet (built in 2004). It faces south and west and has garden on two sides, with wonderful views of the beautiful mountain scenery. The terrace is ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing in summer, and a real sun-trap in winter.

The family-run Chesa Selfranga restaurant just across the road offers excellent home-produced food and is well-known for its wide range of different rösti dishes.
The local bus (free service with guest-card) stops 200 m from the house, taking you on the 5 minute ride to the cable-cars, railway station (where you can take the free train to Davos, providing access to even more pistes and walks), shops and amenities in the centre of the village. Or if you want to make the most of the views of the Silvretta glacier and the Gotschna mountain, you can walk down to the centre in 15 minutes.

Klosters is one of the most sought-after mountain holiday resorts in Europe, yet it retains its traditional atmosphere and is neither over-expensive nor glitzy. Great Location at a Great Price

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close enough to town by foot or by bus to be very convenient, yet nestled away in an area that felt private. Easy access to skiing and the excellent public transit system. Highly recommend

Eine sehr zu empfehlende saubere geräumige Wohnung in einer abgelegenen Gegend von Klosters. Wer die Ruhe liebt ist hier genau richtig. Bushaltestelle zirka 100 Meter von der Wohnung entfernt. Bus fährt 1 Mal pro Stunde ins Zentrum von Klosters. Die Wohnung würde ich selbst immer wieder mieten. Kontaktaufnahme mit der Eigentümerin schnell und unkomliziert. Danke für alles.

A spacious, clean & well kitted out apartment. On edge of Klosters (so a bit of walking likely) but lovely views. We enjoyed our visit to the area, and made good use of the Davos cards for trains and cable cars.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für die schnelle Urlaubsküche braucht. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass unser zweijähriger Sohn in einem Bett zwischen unseren Betten schlafen konnte, so dass er nicht rausfallen konnte und wir nicht aufstehen mussten wenn er sich nachts gerührt hat. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein Urlaub wie man sich ihn wünscht.

Sehr gepflegte und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Schöne Lage, wenn man nicht im Ortskern wohnen will. Mit der Gästekarte kann man die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel prima nutzen. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort 2 Wochen lang sehr wohl gefühlt.

Best location in Klosters! Walk or bus down to the Village!

Isabel & Tim, Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful apartment. We enjoyed our Christmas vacation here. Also a nice surprise to see a Christmas tree in the living room, thanks for that. All of your tips and directions worked out great. Remo (at the hotel) left the supplies we requested and we had a lot of fun meeting him. Lots of laughs as he had some great stories to tell. We skied, sledged, skated, and lots of snowy walks to the village. Our whole reason to be in Switzerland was for the 91st Spengler Cup Hockey Tournament in Davos. We had tickets to 5 games and took the twenty minute train ride into Davos. Davos is a larger city and very busy so it was always so nice to come back to Klosters. We would like to come back again and enjoy more of Klosters. We also met a lot of your neighbors on New Year’s Eve! We all met outside for hot cider drinks and wine while watching the amazing fireworks. Your apartment is beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. A wonderful place to stay! Spacious appartment , well equipped and with own parking space.

We have just returned from a pre-Christmas ski in Klosters. The snow was good at the top of the mountain. The town was lit up with Christmas lights and gave you a wonderful festive feel. The appartment was very well equipped. A bathroom and separate shower room with another toilet. Great when there were Five of us staying! Spacious living area with a big L shaped sofa and a big extendable dining table. The beds were comfy and the owners supplied plenty of towels. The location was lovely beside the golf course in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town. The bus stop was very close to the appartment and only a short ride to the centre of town. The people of Klosters are very friendly and helpful. We have visited many times but it was the first time we stayed in this super appartment. We hope to re- visit soon!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay in Isabel's condo. It was clean, spacious, very comfortable and had everything one may need; and what a perfect location. Quiet, yet close to the village. The tourist card entitles you to many different destinations, we didn't stay long enough to see them all... Isabel was so helpful with many suggestions that when we got there we were ready to explore. We hope to visit again with our family this time. Thanks Isabel ! cheers !

Fantastic apartment

This was our first visit to Klosters. Isabel's apartment is excellent. It's spacious, well appointed, well maintained and in a great location. Isabel also gave great advice on any questions we asked. We enjoyed the skiing, the friendly and helpful locals and it was an easy drive to and from Calais in February half term week. We would definitely go back again.

Excellent Apartment - Just the Best!

For the second year in a row we chose this apartment. Again, the owner, Isabel was really accommodating and easy to communicate with. The apartment is modern, spacious, warm and well equipped - absolutely ideal for 4 people! It is immaculately clean and well maintained. We had another excellent ski holiday! Just perfect for our family. This year we walked up to the station each morning and bought fresh bread, we caught the bus (bus stop very close to apt) to Klosters and skied back to apt. Great not to use the car. Boys loved playing outside in the snow and we just loved chilling. All told - absolutely terrific!!! And we hope we can return again next year...

Great apt for a ski holiday

Have just returned from a week in this fabulous apartment. Apt was exactly as stated on the site. Great appliances, well equipped, very warm and clean Apt is well maintained and cosy and there is plenty of room on the lounge for four people! Views from the lounge were lovely. Owners were very easy to communicate with. The location was great, bus stop was a few minutes walk and then you could ski back right to the front door. There is a large locker room for skis and boots and there is under cover parking. Guest cards for Klosters make moving around very easy and train ride to Davos is very scenic. Klosters is fun to walk around and supermarket has everything one needs at reasonable prices. All told we had a superb week. It is our fifth visit to Klosters and I hope we can use this apartment again next year.

lovely apartment with great views

This apartment is located in a quiet area of Klosters literally on the edge of the golf course. The views are superb and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The appliances were good quality and the bathroom and additional shower rooms were well presented with lovely powerful showers. We had our 2 teenage sons with us and made full use of the Davos Klosters card using the buses, trains and cable cards each day and all for free. We did a different walk every day and our favourite was the panorama weg with stunning views. We relaxed some afternoons in the beautiful outdoor swimming pool in Klosters complete with spring board and high diving board. My husband hired a mountain bike and did the downhill route from Gotschnaboden- not for the faint hearted! Isabelle replied promptly to all our e mails and was very helpful. i would not hesitate in recommending this apartment for an active summer holiday.

Apartment in Klosters 406680

The Apartment was easy to find due to the precise details given to us by the owners who also supplied us with excellent details to make our stay very enjoyable. The apartment had everything you could possible need plus it was very clean and very well maintained. The backdrop to the property was exceptional backing onto the local golf course. For a golfing holiday in the summer it would be ideal with an additional golf course nearby at Davos. The Davos/Klosters inclusive card which the owners told us about before we travelled was excellent value because we went up every cable car in the area for a very small fee compared with the normal price. I would recommend this property to anyone who would like to stay in Klosters whether it was summer or winter.

Christmas 2010 - Amazing Holiday

Where to begin !!!!!! This is an amazing apartment, the photos dont do it justice. It has everything you could possibly need , just like being at home. The views from the French doors are breathtaking, we even had visits from wild deer and rabbits which the children loved. The ski locker room in the basement was a god send and totally secure. The children loved sledging in the private garden and it was only a 5 min walk to a childrens slope where they did more sledging and playing in the snow. There is another ski run (which is not covered on your ski pass - approx 30 franks for the day) just beyond the childrens slope if you fancy an easy ski - (blue run) which was great fun as you could go off piste without it being too dangerous and great fun doing some small jumps.We arranged a Sleigh ride on christmas eve which was even better than the ones we have had in Lapland. Klosters itself is a beautiful friendly resort with some nice shops and not at the prices you would expect for such a prestigious resort, we found it cheaper than France. The supermarket was also very well stocked. Davos ski-ing was excellent, we loved Jackobshorn in particular, we chose to drive there but there is excellent transport from Klosters. We had an fantastic holiday so much so we have booked for Christmas 2011. Isabel the owner has been a joy to communicate with and has helped so much with making our holiday perfect.

Excellent Value - Klosters Condo

The listing is exactly as specified. All services and descriptions were accurate. We loved the condo as it is well maintained, clean and well furnished.It has plenty of space ( 2 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms , a well stocked kitchen, lovely patio and spacious living room) The owner was very easy to work with and wass very helpful in providing advice about activities, services and attractions. It is close to a good restaurant ( Remo's) and the location is very suitable for anyone interested in skiing in the Klosters Davos area. I highly recommend the property to anyone

This property is very smart and comfortable. The regular bus service provides quick access to the town and ski lifts.The are plenty of varied opportunities for skiing, boarding or sledging.The area is exceptionally beautiful and the train ride to Zurich is a real treat. You won't be disappointed.

Great place for a Christmas break

This is a clean, modern, very well equipped, spacious and warm apartment. The area is quiet and residents friendly. Internet access in apartment was useful - we took a laptop to look up snow conditions, weather, bus and train times, etc. We travelled there by train from Zurich and saw stunning scenery on the narrow gauge railway to Klosters. There are lots of interesting shops, bars, restaurants and a good supermarket in the centre of Klosters, a 15 minute walk away. There is also an hourly bus service from the railway station in the town centre to the apartment. Staff in the local ski hire shop in Klosters were helpful with very good English. We had excellent equipment and good discounts by booking in advance on the internet. The skiing offered many intermediate runs and a choice of somewhere different to ski each day going either by local bus or to the nearby town of Davos by rail. The efficient local bus and rail travel is free with your Guest Card. We skied back to the apartment, literally to the door, from Gotschnagrat. We cooked in the apartment most of the time but can vouch for the friendly hotel opposite, which provides good meals if you choose not to cook.

I first went to Klosters when I was 21 and studying German at university. I loved the place so much I kept returning for holidays, so when we were looking for a holiday home to purchase, this was the obvious place!

Why they chose this property

The chalet is immediately opposite the Chesa Selfranga hotel where I worked all those years ago, and which is still run by my good friends Susanne and Remo Thon - now my keyholders!

What makes this property unique

We love being in Selfranga for the peace and quiet and the fantastic views of the village, the glacier and the surrounding mountains - yet only a beautiful 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus journey from the centre of the village with all its amenities.
