Lakeview Pocono Mountain Family Vacation Rental. Sleeps 12. The house has 5 bedroom 3 bathrooms. It is a 3 story Chalet. Registration must be completed 72 hours before arrival. Per community regulation.
This property is in a gated community that offers 2 lakes, 4 beaches with lifeguards, 3 heated swimming pools. A lodge and clubhouse with daily activities for both young and old. Wristbands are mandatory and must be purchased by renter. The area offers skiing, boating, hiking trails, family recreational activities, outlet shopping, casinos, horse racing, NASCAR racing to name a few . The community also has a $20 per vehicle and wristband charges of $8.50 per day per person for anyone 6 yrs or older. This property is not suitable for Prom Weekend Celebrations.

Great spot for a short getaway. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The Arrowhead Lake community amenities were a nice perk that we utilized and enjoyed.

After a major issue with the first booking we found this house. The host was so helpful and responsive. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of room. We made dome great memories there! Great trip

Quiet and perfect

Nice location for a quiet New Year celebration with friends. Owner was very responsive immediately with any questions. House was clean. Plenty of parking, garbage recycling stations are no problem. One negative thing I would say is it that Arrowhead lake association is expensive to register cars and use of the center. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Perfect home for family reunion

This was a wonderful property for our large family gathering (10 people). The 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were distributed across the 3 levels of the house. Having a large, private lower level (2 bedrooms and 1 bath) were perfect for my daughter and her young family. Much thought has gone into supplying this house with all the comforts and amenities you could hope for in a vacation home, including easy access to the lake, beach chairs and toys, a fire pit and swings. A highlight was the pool table on the lower level. I have to say that this house had one of the best equipped kitchens I have ever seen in a rental; perfect for preparing large family meals. Thank you to our hosts, Nhora and Juan, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Like the house, like the area. The only issue we had was the refrigerator. When we got there the compressor was run hard because the freezer door was open and the freezer and refrigerator was hot. Called the owner and they were very responsive but still took 2 days to get a replacement refrigerator. In the meantime we had to buy a lot of ice as well as additional coolers to keep everything cold. The owner came over late on day 2 and luckily I had a couple of young strong adults to help carry the refrigerator up to the second floor as well as carry the original one down to the first floor. When the owner left the new refrigerator was not working but o was able to get the broken one fixed. Finally on day 3 I figured out that the new refrigerator was in DEMO mode so I had to reprogram it so it would operate properly. But all in all we made the best of it and had a lot of fun.

Dirty and disappointing.

We were really looking forward to this vacation. However, seeing the cabin was very disappointing. Not only was there cobwebs and dust everywhere, the carpets were filthy, there were holes in screens, and the property was just obviously not taken care of. Tiles were broken, the yard was a mess, and the overall community was not even close to being worth the price we paid. The owner was apologetic, but it was obvious she does not care for the property at all. When the power went out due to a storm on on second day, we decided to drive the 8 hours back home.

Very nice, comfortable; fit our family well. Amenities were very useful. Location was terrific with a very nice lake view as advertised. Misleading, terrible location, not worth it.

The house was literally just ok. However, it's pretty misleading. There is a lake, and the pictures show the property being right on the lake but you can't get to the lake because there is a spill way. The pools that you HAVE to pay for (another $24/per person) are over a half mile away. There were cobwebs in the light fixtures. One of the rooms clearly had problems with the plug because there was black soot all over the plug from an electrical fire. The yard is not kept up. It is so far away from everything. It takes 15 min to get out of the development to a main road with any kind of food / store. The floors were soooo creaky. You couldn't sleep in in the basement rooms if someone was still up. The shower heads were awful. Also, not providing sheets or towels is a huge hassle. You don't realize how much extra work it is until you are doing it. If you have kids, forget it. We each had to bring an entire extra suitcase just for bedding/towels. You also have to haul the trash to the main gate -- a 3 min drive. They didn't have enough garbage bags or paper towels. The area is not nice enough for this hassle of a house to be worth it. I wish we would have spent more money and had a better house.

Great place to be with different age groups in your party. So many things to do at Arrow head Lake. The house is as described space wise. The host was fast in answering all my questions.

The only improvement I seen was Better direction on how to check in we drove past the welcome center. It was a minor glitch to a awesome vacation.

Great house and very clean!!

I always have been nervous to use this kind of service because I’m very picky on where I stay. My entire group loved the house. We had 7 kids with us and the downstairs was perfect for the kids/teens to have their own space. The house was clean and the owner was very responsive whenever I had questions. We plan on returning for a visit in the fall!

Perfect for us

The stay was very nice we had a good time. Couple things though it was freezing in the basement we chose this house for the extra bedrooms but the kids couldn’t sleep downstairs. No matter how we adjusted the thermostat it was freezing in the basement , warm on the middle floor and comfortable on the 3rd floor. The outdoor furniture was all broken i recommend replacing it. it was perfect for us but it’s an old house with old furniture but it’s a good location within the property we walked to the pool and lakes. The decks were big and perfect for 8 people to play outside but we didn’t eat outside as some of the chairs were broken so we couldn’t all sit. Fire pit was great but again furniture was broken. The slide and the swings were ideal for the kids. Homeowner was EXCELLENT. She was one of the best I have ever dealt with which to me is more important

Fantastic family filled vacation location

Our family and extended family members try to gather yearly for a summer getaway. We were thoroughly impressed with this property. It had plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the surrounding Pocono area. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, large greatroom, and well stocked kitchen with all the appliances needed to make cooking smooth. The location made it easy for us to walk to the beaches/pools/water activities. And, it was nice to be able to bring our pets along too. The hostess replied to any of my communications in a very prompt manner, and she helped with getting the process for us to register as guests with the Arrowhead Association to be able to use all the water locations (this is a must and has to be done at least a week in advance)! We would highly recommend this home, and hope to return again soon. Our family trip was a very happy and memorable time!

Great Family Vacation

House was so spacious. 11 of us were so comfortable and had more than enough space. Pool table was a big hit. Amenities were great! We enjoyed the pools, lake, boat rentals, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. Couldn't have asked for a better week away!

Check in at the community center first to get your keycard. Then go to the Orno entrance to get to the house.

Arrowhead Lake

Nice property. Very maintained and stocked. Owner is a dream to deal with, extremely helpful ! The only 2 things I would change is how they handle the car reg and bracelet pick up. I had to pay ahead for guests who didn’t show which felt a little wasteful money wise. The other issue was that the pools had limited availability due to staffing issues but, post pandemic, this is everywhere right now. Could ALWAYS go to the lake which was nice. Overall the trip was very nice. The lake is beautiful.

Family Vacation
