Surrounded by forests and a babbling river, this place offers true peace and nature experiences right outside your door. Try your luck catching brown trout in the river (remember a fishing license!), or simply enjoy life far away from everyday stress.

About the cabin
We have renovated the cabin with love, preserving charming, original details wherever possible. The cabin has three comfortable bedrooms, and to give you the most relaxing start to your holiday, you will always arrive to freshly made beds – this is, of course, included in the price.

The cabin also has all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. A heat pump ensures a perfect and cozy temperature regardless of the season, and a wood stove provides extra warmth and atmosphere in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, and a practical dishwasher. In the drawers and cupboards, you will find a selection of basic goods, so you don't have to worry about the small things when cooking. In the bathroom, you will also find a combined washer and dryer.

The cabin is the perfect starting point to explore the best Sunnmøre has to offer:

Fjord and mountains: Just a 10-minute drive takes you to Hellesylt, where you can catch the iconic ferry into the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord.

World-class hiking: An eldorado for mountain hikes! You are staying right in the center for iconic mountains like Slogen, Saksa, Urkeegga, and Hornindalsrokken.

Winter paradise: Short distance to the Sunnmøre Alps for ski touring. You will also find great ski resorts for both alpine and cross-country skiing at Strandafjellet (30 min), Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena (35 min), and Haravadet Skiarena (15 min).

Day trips: The cabin is a fantastic hub for visiting Loen Skylift, Stryn, and the historic Norangsdalen.

Practical information and transport
We strongly advise using your own or a rented car to get around. Public transport is very limited in this area, and it takes about 25 minutes to walk to the nearest bus stop.
You will, of course, get free parking right by the cabin.
