Perfect Mother’s Day Weekend Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay over Mother’s Day weekend! The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and celebrate with family. The little touches throughout the home made it feel extra special, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We especially loved the firepit and hammock. Would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable escape.

Stayed here for 3 days while visiting family who live in Muskogee. Beautifully decorated house and very clean. Equipped with so many things we did not think we even needed from labels explaining where things were located and how to use them to bedside tables with USB ports to family friendly games. Generous supply of paper products, toiletries, detergents, towels, dishes. Beds VERY comfortable. Upgraded appliances. AC ran great during excessive heat warning. Very quiet area but felt safe. Friendly host easy to contact and quick to respond. Area is very dark at night and gates to the park close at 10 requiring a GPS guided drive after park hours through a small housing area which is easier with a "copilot" who can look at the map and direct which turn to take. Host also had offered to stay on phone with me. During park open hours it is easy to find. Blue house with American flag. Beware of some deep ditches on sides of narrow roads. Walmart Supercenter in Wagoner is convenient and an easy drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations

My wife and I needed a nice, quiet place for a few days to gather our thoughts and prepare for a memorial service at nearby Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. This place fit the bill. It was equipped with just about everything we needed. The owners obviously understand the needs of travelers, as well as fishermen that frequent the area. We weren’t there for fishing, but I could see that there was much in the cabin to help those that do.
