what UK tv ?

  • 5 of 5

yes this house has everything...except a tv ...why ? .. perhaps because of the location ?

sit on terraces on both sides of the house...or just look out of a window...any window any time of the day ...or night ( we were lucky we had the full moon ) & breath in the beauty of the mountains, be enthralled by the ever changing light... catch the unspoilt views along the valleys or simply stare at the village perched on the ridge opposite as it changes colours & as the cliche says just 'listen' to the silence ...after a week in this house you will know why it was the home of painter...oh ...& why you won't miss the tv !

My girlfriend and I stayed here last summer and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The views of the surrounding scenery are stunning. Highly recommended for a relaxing get away!

A very comfortable farmhouse, lots of space indoors and out with the most fantastic views from all areas around the property.

Everything was clean with all utensils you would require.

Easy walk into village of Perinaldo though quite hilly at the last stretch, good way to walk off your evening meal. The mini-mart has essentials, pharmacy, post-office, a couple of restaurants although never quite sure when one was to open, both good food.

A small market every Wednesday, bread shop with some extra groceries as well and then a general store with just about everything.

A bit 'hairy' getting up to the house over rough ground especially with a motorbike.

Also, bathroom attached to twin bedroom has a step down to the toilet WATCH THE STEP, we both fell and bruised ourselves as we misjudged it.

Overall a great property, very quiet and peaceful. Great for relaxing.

Fantastic farm house with views to match

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Perinaldo last August for 2 weeks and would highly recommend it. The house is very good condition, clean and very tastefully decorated. The garden is perfect for evenings with a few drinks / bbq and amazing views of the hills. The little village has everything you need for basics and a very good pizza place. There are excellent local food markets on the coast that are worth a visit. The land lord is perfect, friendly and very helpful. It is the perfect get away.

Peaceful & Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Perinaldo Farmhouse in 2006... it was a peaceful and beautiful expereince. The views of the Alps and Mediterranean were breath-taking. The short walk to town was easy for my two young children, where they could enjoy a local playground while the adults sipped coffee at the nearby cafe. The sleeping accomodations were private and each had their own bathroom. An especially nice feature when traveling with children. The whole property is clean and well-maintained. We traveled frequently to the sea for swimming and toured small mountain communities for amazing local fare. The property owner is kind, honest, and hardworking - a pleasure to do business with. I wouldn't hestitate to return to the Perinaldo Farmhouse on future trips to Italy.

Perinaldo is the most ancient village in the valley of Crosia. It overlooks the Mediterranean to the South and the Maritime Alps to the North, situated close to the Italian Riviera and is known as the ideal summer retreat. Famous for stunning views and for being the birthplace of three internationally famous astronomers. Perinaldo has a small but well known observatory. The village remains nicely cool even during the hottest summer months. The sea is a short drive away. The French Riviera is a 30 minute drive.
