A spacious ground level opens up to a patio & small garden, and the top floor holds the bedroom and a separate sleeping space for 2 kids. WiFi & Smart TV with Chromecast.

Kitchen features stove, fridge/freezer, oven & dishwasher. The bathroom sports floor heating, washer, shower & bath tub. No pets please. Welcome!

Please leave the property in good order. If it needs a quick vacuuming, there is a vacuum in the closet. Start the dishwasher and I can unload it when it's done.
Wipe up any spills, and leave the trash in the bins by the parking spot. It's ok to leave the bedding as is, I will take care of it after your departure.
Leave the key on the white bureau and send me a message when you're leaving so I know everything worked out for you! Thanks!

Fabulous apartment in beautiful area

This apartment has everything we wished for. We stayed with our little baby for almost a week and felt right at home. Diana is the perfect host and very friendly. Dalarna is an awesome area with a lot to do and to explore. Highly recommended! We can hopefully come back soon.

My husband (Jonas) and I are a Swedish/Canadian couple that love traveling and spending time with our kids. We had a vision to build a rental unit in our old barn, to have available for family and friends, as well as rent out to other families looking for a cozy "home away from home" on their travels.

Why they chose this property

Jonas' mother was a teacher at Vassbo when it was a plant school, so he has always had a soft spot for the area. I fell in love with it when I moved here from Canada and we were lucky enough to buy two properties; our home and the neighbor property where the rental now is. To be only 10 minutes from both Falun and Borlänge with all your conveniences, but still be able to reside in the countryside by a lake, is just paradise to us.

What makes this property unique

Since Vassbo used to be an old tree nursery, there is a wide variety of plant life in the near vicinity, surrounded by forests with direct access to a lake, located between two cities, makes this place the perfect retreat for a mini vacation. No need to pack bedding, linens, or towels, most essentials are all provided with your stay. Just come, relax and enjoy!
