Escape to this lovely house in picturesque Old Saybrook. With 3 bedrooms including a king, queen, and twin with trundle bed, guests will find comfort and space to unwind. Enjoy the enchanting, jetted bathtub in one of the 2 bathrooms. The family room offers a large screen Smart TV, and an additional cozy space with a sofa bed for extra guests. Large eat in kitchen with all the amenities. Living room with bar area for adult entertainment. comfortable outdoor living with front and rear seating areas, dining area, grill, fire pit and outdoor shower. Plenty of off-street parking. Private beaches and playgrounds all within walking distance. Everything needed for a day at the beach is included so just bring your suit and flipflops. This house is incredibly spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for a family of four or more. It exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, unlike typical beach bungalows. The location is ideal, just steps away from the beach, and it comes equipped with an abundance of beach toys and chairs for guests to enjoy. I highly recommend this place.

The home was spotless and very comfortable.Anything possibly neededis included in this house.We were only a block away from the ocean, so that was lovely. The two beaches were both very clean and they were not crowded.Our hostess was wonderful! Any questions we had were addressed immediately. I highly recommend this home for a vacation stay.

This is a beautiful home in a private association. Only a few minutes to walk to the private beach lots. It is a very family friendly neighborhood for walking, and bike riding, The owners are very responsive and the home if fully equipped for all your needs. Such a great location! Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful, serene home

My family of 4 stayed here for two nights and we wish we would have stayed longer! The home is beautifully decorated and has tons of space available to renters. It would have been easy and comfortable to stay there for a week (or more!). Beautiful spot and easy to get around.

We had a wonderful stay and the home was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Only a short (and I mean short) walk to the beach. Would recommend staying here. 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back next year!

Weekend of wedding

The property is beautiful but my advice to take pictures before you check out. I made videos before departing the proposed was happy I did.

Guest booked 2 adults. 4 carloads showed up. Not sure how many guests actually stayed. Guests claims since it sleeps 8 she's aloud but only booked 2 so confused. damage to floor in master (burn) smoked in home. Sprayed perfume all around home on furniture to cover smell. Took days to air out. Makeup stains on linens and furniture.

Very nice location

The house was exactly as pictured, very nice - in a beautiful community on the water. Took us 4 minutes to walk to the playground. The neighborhood is lovely. The house is well maintained and decorated. Well stocked, so many kitchen items and even beach chairs and toys etc. I did ask the host to unplug any scented plug ins (as I do with every place we stay!) and they happily did so but the artificial scents in this home are extreme. Candles everywhere, scented detergent, carafes in bathrooms, etc. There is also a dehumidifier in the basement running 24/7 and it does shake the entire house. We’ve been on cruise ships quieter than this haha. I told my husband it was like we were trying to sleep in a rail car going down the tracks. Other things to note - the (very cute) boat bed is under the stairs not in a room. Therefore it gets bright very early. One room has a door (but that’s the one over the basement - the whole room shakes) - and the master upstairs has no door. Overall, super cute place, clearly well loved by owners but definitely avoid if you can’t tolerate the toxic scents.

The master bedroom is an entire top floor suite. Since we are steps from the ocean the sump pump in the basement does go off periodically during rainy weather to ensure no flooding. during this guests stay it did rain heavily almost the entire week. I did accommodate her requests by removing the 3 diffusers from the home I washed all linen and bedding in bleach and none scented detergent and cleaned the home with Clorox and vinegar only , per her request on for her last minute booking giving me 24 hours to redo the home to accommodate. unfortunately prior to her stay we had guests who used heavy perfumes in the home so the artificial smells lingered throughout the home , the scent she speaks of is NOT a normal or natural smell of our home . I take pride in having a very clean, disinfectant and sanitized home for my guests. I personally ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay.

the view of the water, the moon and the sunset are breathtaking. Indain town is a small community and offers so much!
