This VRBO is a gem! We truly loved our stay in De Smet. The house is beautiful, clean, well stocked, and close to everything. This was such a fun experience. The owners are great with communication and expectations. This place is a gem!

The host was very responsive and the house was everything we needed. Close to the lakes we were fishing and close to everything else we needed. Great stay!

It was a cute old home, with all the charm that goes with it. If you are sensitive to old home basement smell, you might want to bring an air purifier. We arrived in the evening and out the door early, would have enjoyed more time.

This was a great place to stay when in DeSmet. We were there as a family for high school graduation. It was perfect for a family of 4. It was within walking distance to everything, and was very well stocked with everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better home.

Clean, homey, walking distance to everything, our host communicated well and provided everything that we needed! We toured all of the Laura Ingall’s Wilder sites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is centrally located - so cute and comfy with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom! Would definitely recommend to others

Great Stay

Great stay at the Wild Rose Cottage! We came to town for Laura Ingalls Heritage, and were so pleased to find a VRBO that suited our family's needs. Even more, this location exceeded our expectation. We had enough space for our family, and found everything clean and in its place. We would suggest this place to any one else looking for a stay in the area.
