Pet Friendly 2 bedroom plus loft, in Parksville's beautiful resort area

Our cottage can be your home away from home with top end appliances, quartz countertops and full amenities. There are 2 bedrooms and a loft with a pullout couch. You can comfortably sleep 6 people. The master suite has a luxurious king size bed. The great room has lots of space to relax and has a mounted flat screen smart TV. Our guests have thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the large back deck, enjoying a moment of peace on the comfy garden swing, The loft is a versatile space to relax, sleep and also hosts is a second big screen TV. Our cottage is also fully equipped with all the amenities such as built in air-conditioning, laundry, and glassed in shower. The cottage backs onto the Grotto for the Tigh Na Mara Resort.

Our cottage is approximately an 8 minute walk from Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park entrance. The park has endless beaches that are great for young children with long stretches of sand and numerous trails to hike on. There is a large children’s play area at Rathtrevor Beach and they often run activities during the summer season. For the adults in the group we have two spas within walking distance. Tranquil Day Spa is a part of the Oceanside Village Resort and next door to our resort is the Grotto Spa at Tigh Na Mara. We have included links below for your convenience of booking any spa treatments while you are staying.

There are many sites near this cottage that make this area the most desirable place in the center island to stay. The complex has a great bistro restaurant as well as a hair salon, and spa. Amenities include an indoor heated pool and hot tub right at the resort for your own use. There are also gym facilities in the same building as the pool and hot tub.

We are a pet friendly cottage since we have dogs in our lives as well. We simply ask that you take care of tiding up after you pet and do have supplies here for that purpose.

Cottage was clean, with lots of everyday needs available. It was spacious and has a great layout. If there is something that’s not there downtown is close by. Also it’s in a great location to access beaches, and a short distance to Departure Bay ferry terminal. It’s in a quiet setting with green belts between complexes so it’s quiet and serene. Good deal for the price. Will like to come back.

Relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage, had everything we needed with the beach was a short walk away. The upstairs loft space came in handy as it had a great big TV up and away from the bedrooms downstairs. Perfect for watching movies after our young son had gone to bed. Highly recommend for a nice relaxing family summer vacation!

Home away from home

We loved staying at this cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4 and small dog. Great layout, pantry cupboard is a nice feature in the kitchen as it was easy to keep all our food in one place (compared to many other cabins we’ve stayed at), well stocked kitchen with a good variety of appliances and plenty of dishes and cutlery, multiple televisions, air conditioning for hot days, and a shady backyard patio with swing chair and other furniture, what’s not to love? Washer and dryer and lots of storage space for clothes (drawers and closet space) made it easy to keep the cabin clean and organized during our stay. Access to great walking trails, including to Rathtrevor Beach (which we did almost daily) as well as Top Bridge Regional Park. Lovely local hand soap in the bathrooms and a bottle of wine upon arrival were also nice welcoming touches. We hope to get back again soon.

Even better than expected

This property was perfect and exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at Oceanside before so had an idea of what to expect, but this cottage was the best we’ve stayed in. It was large, lovely, clean, had all the amenities you’d hope for (and more!) in a home-away-from-home vacation. Dorothy communicated very well and made sure we had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. I can’t say enough about this cottage and its hosts- what a pleasure. (And the thoughtful bottle of wine on arrival was the cherry on top!) Thank you Dorothy!

Great cottage

Everything was excellent. Fast replies from the host, clean and comfortable accommodation and very well stocked (including a very thoughtful bottle of BC wine). As with all the other reviews we would certainly recommend this cottage. It was located in a very well kept resort community close to everything.

Wonderful family vacation with 5 adults an an infant

The place was as photos and descriptions showed. The host was very accommodating! The kitchen had everything absolutely everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo & conditioner.The location was perfect-we could walk to the pool, mini golf, beach, spa and a couple of restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing Stay!

This place was an amazing place to stay for our family and dog. We rented this home because of it’s close proximity to Tigh-Na-Mara as we were attending a wedding at the resort. It was about a 5 minute walk to the main resort and 10ish minutes to the beach. The home was clean, well maintained, decorated nicely and just what our small family needed. It had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals, down to blankets to snuggle up with on the couch. We would gladly rent this home again on our next trip!

Amazing family getaway

Absolutely fantastic property in an amazing location. This is our second stay traveling from alberta with my parents from scotland. We loved it so much last year we came back this year. It is totally a home from home and cannot wait to come back.

Great Location and Stay

Nice quiet location. Location was great for all of our day trips. Place was clean and spotless. All appliances worked well. Huge modern washer and dryer. We did not need to use the AC while we were there. Only recommendation would be to add more lighting. It was pretty dark at night in the bedrooms, bathroom and living room. Kitchen lighting was OK.

Fabulous Cottage!

We stayed for a week at Oceanside Village and couldn't have been happier! This cottage had everything we needed to be incredibly comfortable including a very well stocked kitchen and wonderful bedding, towels, and comfy blankets. We were cozy there despite some grey and drizzly weather! The location is great for families- it's close to the beach but also has easy access to mini golf, bike trails and hikes. We truly had a wonderful time and would definitely consider this place again!
