We had a wonderful stay at Aaron‘s house. There was plenty of room for our family, the beds were really comfortable. I think one of the best things is it had a full kitchen. It allowed us to make a Thanksgiving dinner, and you don’t always get a full kitchen in a VROB. Aaron was very easy to work with, and always available if I had a question. I look forward to trying to stay there again in the summer when we can be down by the creek.
This was definitely the coolest place we've ever stayed at. We were greeted with a family of deer right out in the yard that hung out for the evening. We also had a bear walk through which was the highlight of our trip. It was clean and there were plenty of rooms to choose from and any amenty we could need. Private access to the creek and the axe throwing were the perfect touch. We definitely want to come back!
We enjoyed our stay! It was comfortable and peaceful. The bed we slept in (1 of 9!) was very comfy, and there’s plenty of space if you have a larger group. Our dog absolutely loved running around the spacious property. A real treat was spotting a family of five deer wandering through! The deck was perfect for relaxing, and we enjoyed using the BBQ to cook dinner. Host Aaron was easy to get a hold of and responsive. Star Link internet access was available.
We rented this property to go to our family reunion in the summer. It is very spacious and the surrounding area is quiet. There are bears, though, so make sure you don't leave anything in your car. A bear tore off the airfoil of my mom's car trying to get in to it. Our only complaint was that there is only one functional screen on the windows, We like to keep the screens open at night to cool the house down during the hot summer months.
Tucked away in the tall pine trees of Taylorsville, we found this cozy, classic cabin in the woods... it's full of rustic mountain charm from days gone by, paired with the comforts & amenities that we appreciate so much these days. From the big old beams, the large rock fireplace, & the wooden ladder leading to the fun loft up above in the living room, to the beautiful scenery of the woods that can be seen through the many large windows surrounding the house, this home is full of character & offers a very peaceful setting for your getaway! We were able to easily connect to Starlink for internet access & wifi calling capabilities during our stay, which was great. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, cleaning supplies etc. Bathrooms were well appointed, beds were comfy with plenty of soft blankets/pillows... and the woodstove along with the heater kept us nice & warm despite the freezing temperatures outside.Aaron (the property manager/owner) was very friendly, easy to communicate with, & helpful both prior to, and during our stay. He provided us with simple to follow directions & stayed in contact via text which was really convenient. Our family had a great time at the cabin, & we look forward to visiting again in the future!
Great place for large family. Lots of room to spread out to visit. Fun outside area for kids. Has a fantastic fireplace. Mattresses were very comfortable!
The property was as described, with plentiful space for the dogs to roam about in. There are many trails on the property and in the surrounding areas, not to mention ability to kayak in the river nearby. The fireplace was fabulous with plenty of wood chopped for use. The kitchen has a gas stove (something that I miss) and oven! Pots and pans were plentiful and clean. There was plenty of room in the cabin to spread out. The communication was great and the well-decorated Christmas tree was awesome.
