Kermit's Cozy Cottage is your perfect "home base" in Millersburg, Ohio - the center of Amish country. This well appointed studio cottage features a comfortable bedroom area, recliner chair, desk area, full kitchen, dining table, WiFi, washer/dryer machine, outdoor grill, AC, and heating. Located on Turkey Hollow farm & campground, guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of home. Sit on the front porch and enjoy watching cattle grazing in the pasture and the views of trees and pond below. Take a hike down past the pond and pastures, to the creek below. We think our place will help you experience everything Ohio's Amish Country has to offer. Please keep in mind that the cottage is located on a working farm and there is activity around during the day at times.

A truly wonderful family runs the farm where this cottage is found. I haven't felt such peace in a long, long time.

Loved the cottage. We were just looking for peace and quiet and to spend some much needed alone time. Didn't do any shopping this trip, just drove around enjoying the the leaves changing colors. Didnt want to leave actually.

Really nice place

We stayed a weekend with our Pomeranian. Great little cabin! Really clean, modern, well taken care of. Had a nice time there. :)

This little place was perfect and exactly as described and pictured. A lovely quiet private stay. The cleanliness and feel of the home was beyond compare. I was perfectly comfortable and had everything I needed. Far away enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you need anything or want to see the sites. The bathroom was fabulous! Overall a getaway I will want to repeat!

Very clean house, property etc. All amenities were there. Loved the little Shark vacuum!! I’ll have to get one myself; so light & easy on my back. Was very easy to converse with owner too. Got to visit all the shops on our lists & a few more. Even got a visit from a family dog on the last day & the moo cows at night. Great place.

Quiet and Cozy

We were pleased with our stay. It was a perfect little get away with my husband before our baby arrives. Thankful we were able to bring the dog. We plan to revisit.

Great place to get away. No frills but everything you need. No tv but good high speed internet connection. Watched tv on my tablet and laptop when wanted to see the news, movie etc. Great host. Didn't interject themself but was readily available when needed.

Wonderful getaway!

The property is secluded and peaceful. We only stayed for 1 night so we did not really spend more time in it other than sleeping. But over all the place was just perfect for me and my husband with our little dog.

This place was very clean which is always a good thing. It is in a very quiet area that you are far enough off the road you wouldn't hear a vehicle when it did go down the road. It is just big enough to work good and is set up very well as to it being convenient. You need to bring your own entertainment as there is no TV which is ok due to good WiFi. I think this would be a great place for any constellation watching as it is pretty dark and sky is unreal when clear at night. If there was any negative things to say it would be very minor; 1) the bed is only a full size which I did not see in the write up 2) A notebook with instructions for like heater/AC, trash, checkout would be nice. 3) man that showerhead is nice but to big for the shower. I couldn't get soaped up as the water covered the whole shower area. Overall I'd stay here again and recommend it. The host responded pretty quickly when I messaged them.

Time alone

This was a little getaway before the hustle and bustle of my Toys for Tots campgin season. Check-in was easy. When I got there the air conditioning was on nice a cool and it smelled so nice. The place is so cute and well maintained. Wi-Fi was wonderful. I walked around the campground the hill was brutal but the campground is beautiful. Would have loved a couple trees around the cabin so I could have put up my hammock but that's a small detail. I know it's hot but would have loved a little fire pit again small detail nothing that would make or break this day. Communication was phenomenal they offered me fresh eggs, beans, lettuce and tomatoes from the farm they even delivered. Phenomenal salad to go with my dinner after a long day of shopping and a kayak down the river. Definitely recommend staying here.

This cottage was quite cute. Unfortunately, while we were there there was a big wind storm that took out a large portion of Holmes County electricity. Matt and March were great offering extra blankets and lights, and Matt got a generator running and kept it running at all hours so we had electricity, heat and water pressure.
