Great property and location

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect. Close enough to all the activities we had planned, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The house had plenty of space for our family to relax, both indoors and outside. The pool and hot tub were a hit with everyone and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway!

Beautiful & Cozy

We had such a wonderful stay at this home away from home. We were able to utilize the pool and hot-tub, relax and play board games with friends, and just get away from the city for a bit. W Weill be absolutely booking this place again!

Cozy Private Home!

Stayed here with a few friends for a girls weekend getaway and had such a lovely time at the property. The property manager was generous enough to keep the pool open an extra weekend after it would typically close for Labor Day. The property was clean and well maintained and we felt very at home with the amenities. We definitely will be staying here again!

Perfect for a 10 person stay

The property was perfect for my family stay! We loved the pool, the space in the house, and the beautiful property outside. Great for pet friendly as well. We would definitely like to stay again. Everything was just right. They have a little gnat/fruit fly issue in the kitchen, and the individual hot tub had a musty smell, but those are the only complaints. Overall, it was an awesome stay!

Great for our group of 9 adults

What was good about Mountain Majesty - - Good location with lots of outdoor activities - Large common area for enjoying meals & time together - Lots of bedrooms - 2.5 bathrooms What could use improvement - - Need to add some glassware to the 4 or 5 glasses the house is stocked with - Be prepared to bring or purchase paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, oils, sugar, spices (except for salt & pepper), tissues, dish scrubbers, etc. Overall, I recommend this property. We had a wonderful time hiking trails at Ohiopyle state park & Fort Necessity, and cross country skiing at Laurel Ridge XC Ski center. And, we enjoyed some fabulous meals together (we are all foodies) at the big table.

Mountain Majestic Stay

This was a great spot for possibly max a dozen people. It was located close to a major road artery and had a few places nearby to supply any group. The actual property was great. There are a few things that are sort of dated, but the amenities are all there (except oddly, a dish sponge? but that was NBD). There were two hot tubs (one of which worked, but we couldnt fully figure out, but we didnt worry about that because the other hot tub was easy to use) and a functioning pool. The outdoor space was amazing, and honestly under utilized- a large paved area and a huge field were available to use. Internet connection was solid. The only thing I would warn about is elderly or non-mobile people. I am not very familiar with the area, but being such a not-flat landscape, there were some odd gradients and loose footing in places.

Good Ownership

There was an issue with this property and the company called me the day prior to alert me. They offered us a different property. They took full responsibility and moved us to a more expensive property and issued a partial refund. I would much prefer that the company do what it did than try and pinch a penny and have us stay in the original place with whatever problem it was having. I understand things come up and this company (although short notice) handled it the best way and we were very satisfied. Communication was good and getting in touch with someone when needed was easy. So while we didnt end up staying at this exact property, we were very happy with where we did stay and all the things we needed and wanted to do were still available for us. I would definitely rent with this company again.

Labor Day weekend

Hello, Overall our stay was good, the outside area was the best part and the location. There does need to be a lot of renovations throughout the house. In one of the bathrooms downstairs the title was broken. At first the showers were clogged, then we unclogged them. Multiple lights throughout the house needed new bulbs. The kitchen faucet handle was loose. There was mouse traps out on the first floor. The bathroom upstairs had dead bugs on the window seal and a pile of dust. The outside area with the fireplace needs a lot of work. The stone walking up to it and around the table were uneven, and falling apart. We did enjoy our stay hopefully this review will help for the upcoming renters.

Beautiful and peaceful. Close to main road so you can get to anything needed but you could not tell you were close because it's surrounded by beautiful landscape and trees. So close and convenient to food, store and activities but feel like you are alone in the wilderness when resting or swimming ❤️ Five stars

Farmington lodge

Very nice property located in a relatively isolated area which made it nice for us. The company opened the pool to the delight of my granddaughters, plenty of room with 5 bedrooms. We did not cook at property but the dining room had a large table. Only complaint was the two upstairs bedrooms were very warm at night.

Perfect New Years getaway

A group of ten of us stayed for the weekend over New Years Eve. The location and space was definitely a positive for all of us. We enjoyed the fire pit and loved that it was covered so we could still enjoy it in the rain. The hot tub was a non negotiable when looking for a place so that was really nice too. The kitchen space was large and great for entertaining and making meals for a group of 10. The space definitely allowed us to feel like we could all be together as a group. The rental property was responsive but they misfiled my rental agreement three times which irritated me. Also , there were dead flies all over the house so in terms of cleanliness it was not perfectly clean. We will definitely stay again - this time in the summer to enjoy the pool.

Mountain Majesty over Thanksgiving

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place worked out very well. Large, functional kitchen and plenty of room. One bedroom was cold w/o a space heater on-just note for new renters. DVD player seemed broken or dying. Many things need to be fixed or updated (leaky faucets, teflon-damaged frypans, etc.), but it was good by and large. Cleanliness was so-so - lot of bug carcasses. Location - fabulous. Overall - way more good than mediocre.
