La hermosa Villa se encuentra en uno de los barrio popular de la ciudad y se llama Mosfellsbær.
Es sólo 15 minutos de la ciudad y 45 minutos desde el aeropuerto de Keflavik.
Tiene vistas de la bahía pequeña al mar con la montaña y vistas a la ciudad.
La Villa se encuentra en la zona más caliente en Mosfellsbæ en calle cerrada y sólo las grandes casas a construir alrededor.
Tiene 2 estacionamiento privado frente a la Villa y más a pocos pasos de la casa en la calle.

En el jardín hay una bañera de hidromasaje para 10-12 personas y agradable terraza de piedra.

We loved our stay! Beautiful location. The host greeted us upon arrival and showed us the home. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels/linen. The hot tub is great! Would return in the future. Thank you for a beautiful resting place while touring Iceland!

Beautiful Villa

We had the best stay at this beautiful house. It had plenty of room for our family of 10 and the view of the Icelandic horses was so amazing. Herdis was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this to any family coming to Iceland. We will definitely be back!

Icelandic Adventure

Home was set up well with lots of amenities. Plenty of room and very close to stores and bakeries. Large glass windows overlooking the meadow, ocean and beautiful horses. We was a group of 10 on a 3 generation family vacation. We had a great time.

Gorgeous view, incredible house

We loved the views and the “posh” feel of the place. There were 8 of us: 2 couples and 4 singles, all over 50 years old. The beds were incredibly comfy, the kitchen was completely tricked out, there were pantry staples in the kitchen as well as a container of milk and almond milk, butter etc… It’s a little bit farther from Reykjavík than would have been convenient, but frankly, if it had been in town, it wouldn’t have that incredible view from the wall of glass.

Family adventure

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous home. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The views of the horses in their pastures with the water beyond and mountains to the side are so peaceful. The location of the home is very convenient to all activities and you’ll look forward to coming back “home” to relax and enjoy the amazing hot tub. Highly recommend! This home is a 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Perfect Home Base

Amazing home! Herdis was a terrific host and checked in to make sure all was satisfactory. This was the perfect home base from which to explore Reykjavik and the sights of Iceland! We spent New Year's Eve watching the fireworks from the hot tub. I have never seen anything like a New Year's Eve party in Iceland! For an hour and a half, fireworks were exploding around every corner of the house and all across Reykjavik for which we had a front row seat! The entire stay was perfect!

Beautiful home

The house is amazing and was perfect for 6 adults. The kitchen is better equipped than any other property I have stayed in, the bathrooms were large, and the bedrooms spacious. We loved the modern design and the large glass floor to ceiling windows. We watched the horses trot by every morning and used the hot tub every night. The location was great, easy to get in and out, close to grocery store, bakery, and a short drive to the city. Herdis was responsive and very pleasant. This is a fantastic home.

Our family adventure in iceland

Very well equipped home. Plenty of kitchen extras and upgrades. Would have liked some closet space in bedrooms. Only closet was in master. Beds were super comfortable, and we are very picky on beds. Hot tub was wonderful—fresh water and no chemicals. Water out of faucet very yummy—don’t buy water! Beautiful views out of the windows. Very safe area!!! All of Iceland very safe!! Great trip!!!!

Great location, plenty of living space, cozy beds

Traveled with my 10 family members. The views were beautiful. The horses were a treat. The jacuzzi and fire pits were so nice to come home to after long days of exploring. We brought wood at the grocery store. Great location not far from all we wanted to do and explore. Rooms are smaller but beds were very comfy and lots of living space. Clean & plenty of towels & blankets. Herdis was helpful upon arrival she met us for a tour & explanation of everything. She texted to stay connected and was very responsive once there.

Great place to stay!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO rentals over the last 8 years and have never had a better experience. The host communicated with us every step of the way and even welcomed us when we arrived! She showed us around and explained a lot of things that was very helpful. When my children walked across the street to see her horses, the host’s daughter greater them and was so friendly. They really appreciated their interaction with her. The house is beautiful. What a view! If I ever go back to Iceland I will not stay anywhere else. Thank you!

Living in a post card

House was fabulous. Everything one would need. The windows across the back and sides made you feel like you were in the picture. The horses and mountain outside the windows were awesome. We used hot tub whenever someone wanted to soak. Beds were so comfortable. Black out shades did their job. Owner was available and very helpful. Local town had everything you would need. We loved staying in this beautiful home.

Modern, Spacious and Private View Stunner!

This very spacious and off the beaten path, modern home is a must. From it's stunning views, thermo hot tub, loaded kitchen and comfy beds to the heated floors and amazing showers, you will be in heaven. We were actually able to see the Aurora Borealis from the hot tub 3 nights in a row! It's in a quiet, easily accessible area, too. There's a couple grocery stores right up the street and a bakery as well. Herdis was kind and quick to respond to any requests we had and made a few recommendations for us on things to do. I don't have anything more to say, other than it was perfect for our group of 7.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view

This is a gorgeous home in a great location. The house is very well equipped and exceedingly comfortable. Our family had plenty of space to spend time together, but also plenty of space for quiet, private time. The hot tub was large and easy to use. And the view of the water and many Icelandic horses from the front window was incredibly relaxing. The host was very attentive and responsive. The location is a real plus. Being just outside the city, all of the major natural attractions were easier to get to than if one would be if one were in the city. But the city is close enough that it was easy to access as well. We hope that we will return soon.

Iceland Bucket Lust with Friends

We had an awesome trip to Iceland. The property was just as expected. Very clean and spacious. The appliances we’re top notch and rooms were well appointed and accommodated our group of nine. One of the drawbacks of thermal heating, is the sulfur smell of the water. Plenty of hot water, but it’s difficult to get used to the smell of the sulfur. Overall, this is a great place to stay with a family especially if you’d like to have some space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the game room with the pool table and the adults enjoyed the heated outdoor tub.

Luxury and comfort in a perfect location!

Our 2 families--2 couples and 5 kids ages 7-11 stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful house. Herdis met us upon arrival and walked us through the house explaining everything. I imagine it's hard to find another house with as much space and as well-stocked, this home is live-in ready from hundreds of towels, double washers and dryers, to every amenity. The hardest part about staying here is that it is so nice you don't want to leave...but when you do leave it's 20 minutes from Reykjavik city, and less than 30 minutes from the entrance to Thingvellir National Park. Plenty of convenience shopping within 10 minutes as well as some many places that will deliver to the home. It's the perfect place to launch Thingvellir & Reykjavik adventures from and even better to come home to at the end of the day for relaxation and a good nights sleep. Not a complaint from any of the 5 kids (who love to complain) about the house! Thanks Herdis!

Fun Family Time in Iceland

Thank you, Herdis - for a wonderful stay in Iceland! This home offers beautiful ocean views, horse-roaming pasture and snow-tipped mountains! A wonderful modern design with state of the art appliances. Large family dinners were enjoyed together at the huge dining table and morning coffee was shared around the round kitchen table. Plenty of space in the home for a large family to spread out with the different sitting areas, pool table room and outdoor seating and hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen and no shortage of towels and linens. There were no unanswered questions upon arrival but we knew Herdis was just a quick text away had we had any. Thank you, Herdis for allowing us to call your home "home" while we enjoyed exploring Iceland!

Bachelorette Perfection

We stayed at this beautiful home for about 4-5 days to celebrate my bachelorette with 11 girls. We had plenty of room, even to spare. The house was amazing, super beautiful in the winter with tons of great activities. The host had great communication with us. The house was stocked with all the spices, condiments, olive oil, equipment needed for home meals so we didn't have to buy all that many groceries which was great. Our only hiccup was that the hot tub gets scorching hot. It has to sit for about an hour after you fill it up, because we made the mistake of trying to go in right away and it really burned us. Made for a good laugh though! Will definitely try to come back in the future :)

Beautiful home and excellent location!

Our family of five greatly enjoyed making this our home for 10 days. The location was very convenient. We were able to visit all parts of Iceland and make this our central point. We did a tour of the Golden Circle with a tour guide which was very informative. Snowmobiling the the glacier was a true highlight, as well as, whale watching. On our own we took a trip to the Southern part of Iceland, which I highly recommend and visited the western side of Snaefellsnes. So many waterfalls!! We took part in horseback riding and of course visited Blue Lagoon. We did not visit many local restaurants because we took advantage of the midnight sunsets and stayed out late every night! However, we did visit the local ice cream shop next to the Krónan grocery store almost everyday. It stays open until 11pm! We did visit the bakery and the restaurant in the same shopping center and they both were very good, as well. The listing description was totally accurate. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. So nice waking up to the mountains and horses. Herdis was wonderful to work with. We did take advantage of a chef to come in and fix breakfast for us on four occasions. This was wonderful! The chef provided all the food and it was nice having a hearty healthy breakfast before venturing out for the day. She did all the prep work and clean up which saved us a lot of time. Highly recommend this property!!

Great Christmas Holiday vacation
