Amazing

Amazing property and hosts. Henry, Isis and Daniel were so attentive and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cute bungalow off the beaten track

I can't say enough great things about the hosts, Henri, Isis, and Daniel. They tended to all of our requests quickly and completely. The bungalow was quite a ways from San Pedro which was good and bad. The distance made it a very quiet and beautiful place to stay, but it was far from restaurants and other activities. Also, you have to take a very long, bumpy ride on the golf car to get there. If you want a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate and don't mind the distance, this is a great place to stay.

Great base for bonefishing

Spacious, seafront, well equipped. Daniel at Chat n Chill next door sorted all our drink & food needs.There is no gas station after San Pedro. If you want to do lots of trips north, to find fishing spots, buy and bring a 2 gallon tub of gas

Very Disappointing

We were disappointed in several areas about the property. Most importantly, we had no hot water during our stay. Other items of concern - no ice or ice trays, no TV even though there were a lot of DVDs, and non existent wi-fi. Your staff was great, but could not fix the hot water. Asked owner for compensation and was totally ignored.

Relaxing retreat

Our stay at the beachfront casita was lovely and relaxing. Henry, Isis and Daniel were attentive and very helpful. And the food at Chat & Chill was delicious. I highly recommend this property for a quiet respite and beautiful view.

Private cabin in heaven!

My husband and I loved our stay! The cabin gave us a private location that was just lovely! Walking from our front door directly onto the beach with views of the coral reef was gorgeous and the property's caretakers were so friendly. We truly enjoyed our time there and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Paradise

We didn’t want to leave! It’s a very tranquil and beautiful spot far away from the bustle of Sun Pedro town. The staff (Henri, Isis, and Daniel) were welcoming and always ready to help. They are top notch!

Beautiful view from cabin deck

The property is clean and comfortable. The drive there is long and bumpy in a golf cart so make sure your luggage is secure. When you arrive the caretakers, Henry and Daniel are there to greet you and assist with your luggage. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time talking to them, they always greet you with a smile. They keep the grounds immaculate. We took a few golf cart rides north to where the reef comes close to the shore but spent quite a bit of our time just relaxing at the cabin. The Chat and Chill restaurant is right beside you and we had the most amazing nachos there Henry suggested a snorkel tour company and arranged for us to go and they picked us up right on our dock. I would highly recommend this property. Only thing was the wifi service was very bad .

Private and peaceful!

My husband and I stayed for seven nights in this cute little house on the beach. The staff was very attentive and accommodated all of our requests. Very friendly! It's about a 45 minute drive north of the San Pedro airport. As others have said, the road for the last 25-30 minutes is very bumpy. It would probably be a good idea to look for a golf cart with really good suspension! :) The little restaurant on the property (The Chat 'n Chill) is good for simple yummy meals when you don't want to take a drive to another restaurant. They also have a well stocked bar. There are several good restaurant options within a 15 minute drive. There is a great air conditioner in the bedroom if the days get hot. We enjoyed our relaxed getaway!!

Lovely staff, beautiful property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are plannig to return next year. Quiet and removed from the crowds, it's just what I was looking for. The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. The best!

Peaceful relaxation

We had such an awesome visit. The beach front cottage is exactly that. The palms are absolutely stunning!!! Great place to escape and recharge! Daniel was absolutely great helping us with everything from camp fires to fishing! He’s the best and we plan to go back asap to visit!!!! This is secluded and there is a bumpy 45 min golf cart ride from town but it is definitely worth it! We got to meet The owner Jeff, he’s very welcoming and friendly!

Beautiful Beautiful Beach & property! . Chat N Chill was awesome. Food, drinks, positive attitude is always available and food/drinks was tops on the island! Sunrise greeted us every morning out our front door, amazing!

Private, laid back, simple and friendly

Henry, Isis and Daniel were so easygoing and friendly that they felt like family. They accommodated our every want and need. It felt private. The air conditioner in the bedroom made for comfortable sleeping. Would consider returning in the future.

First time in Belize!

Isis and Henry were fabulous hosts. It’s a quiet and peaceful home. It is “10 miles north” and a very bumpy golf cart ride. I’d recommend renting a high quality golf cart with better suspension. We will be back!

Unique wonderful relaxing getaway!

The property, staff and character of this boutique resort is surpassed by none! Such a welcoming tropical paradise! I highly recommend! Great way to rejuvenate!

Great Stay

Exceeded expectations. Henry and Isis were wonderful. Spotless property and well worth the sometimes bumpy ride. Great breakfast and late afternoon Belikin. Fishing guide picked us up right off the dock

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing stay! Very relaxing way to unwind after the hectic holidays. As others have mentioned it is a ways out of San Pedro but if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. We were very very well taken care of by Henry and Izzy and look forward to coming back.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay there. The property was great and the staff really friendly. Only downside is the road getting there being in such a bad shape and necessary to get to anywhere, but nothing they can do about it. Water taxi might be a good option.

Quite and Relaxing

We had a great week here away from the hustle and bustle of life. Went to town one day since it’s a 45 minute drive one way by golf cart. No need to go back with Chat and Chill a few steps away for food and drinks. Julia and Isis were awesome and even made us a great anniversary dinner. It was sooo good! Henry always checked to make sure all was good and if we needed anything. We could not of asked for any thing better with these individuals and enjoyed visiting with them, as well. Will definitely be on our list to stay in the future.

A true vacationing spot

Peaceful, quiet away from the crazy night life of San Pedro. We spent 5 days away from it all. This house is about a 45 minute golf cart drive away from the airport in San Pedro. If your looking to be in the middle of the crazy night life and crowded downtown area this place is not for you. But if your looking for a nice, quiet retreat then look no further. The staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Isis even cooked us a fish dinner one night with our daily catch. It was amazing! The Chat N Chill is a little restaraunt/bar area that is on the same grounds. Secret Beach is amazing and I would highly recommend going there for beautiful beaches. The Blue Bayou had amazing food with a laid back atmosphere. The beaches on the East side of the island were constantly covered in sea grass blowing in but you don't get that at Secret Beach. Highly recommend this unit for those looking to actually vacation and enjoy some downtime. A/C in the bedroom made for great sleeping!

A truly beautiful retreat from everything (almost)

This property is a great place to get away from the day to day and just stare in awe at the beauty surrounding you. My wife & I loved staying here. Now, it is a long haul from town (about 45 minutes on a golf cart, on a sometimes pothole filled drive), but the peaceful feeling you'll have relaxing on the porch, or in the pool, cannot be beat. There are enough local spots to hit up for food (check online for hours), but you also have the Chat & Chill to enjoy for a quick bite or drink (and the staff was top notch our whole trip - thanks everyone!). We can't recommend this property enough - IF you're looking to get away and have some peace and quiet. If you want to go into San Pedro, this place is a bit far away for a daily trip, in my opinion. But Secret Beach was an easy half hour away, the guest house was super comfortable, walking out on the pier to astound yourself with the star-filled sky, or just floating lazily in the pool, this place is fantastic.

Sandy Toes, Sensational Sunrises, and Seclusion

This little beachfront casita was just what the doctor ordered. A quaint casita with a breathtaking view. The beach is literally your front yard. The view from the front porch looked like a postcard. We also loved having the pool to use since the seaweed was out of control. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Isis was a lovely host at the Chat n Chill each time we went down for a drink or a meal. We loved visiting with Henry each day. He was so friendly and always helpful when we had a question or needed anything. If seclusion is what you are looking for and you want to unplug and unwind....this is your place! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We purchased nearly 500 feet of beachfront property in Belize and love the island and the people who live here. Property was originally Son & Sea Camp. A Christian Summer Camp for the Children of Belize. The property now consists of a rental Casita on the beach and a rental house on the dock as well as Chat~n~Chill restaurant featuring great food and drinks right on the beach of the Caribbean Sea

We love being away from the traffic and congestion of San Pedro. Ten miles north of town, easily accessible with rental golf cart or water taxi. Far enough away to have peace and quiet, but close enough to drive in to town for shopping or a meal

Beautiful setting that is quiet and remote - hammocks and lounge chairs to relax on as well as a pier to swim from with a ladder and outdoor shower.
