Relax, Rejuvenate, and Revitalize...

Step inside “Seascape” and enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the beach and waters of the Gulf. This condo is one of the few direct Gulf front units at the Placida Beach Club. It is a romantic island paradise located on Little Gasparilla, a tropical barrier island, accessible only by boat. Unlimited use of a pedestrian Ferry (10-minute ride) and gated, mainland parking is included with this rental.

Relax and immediately feel you’re on vacation, the sound of the surf, the gulf, incredible sunsets, and starry nights. This unit is ideally suited for couples with a Master Bedroom (queen) but accommodates four people with a loft bedroom (full). There is also a queen sleep sofa in the Living Room.

The unit has recently been remodeled and is well appointed throughout, including beautiful vinyl/tile floors, granite kitchen countertops, all appliances, luxury linens, beach towels, beach chairs and more. It is bright, cheery and has that comfortable feel that's just hard to explain. Your stay also includes a heated, freshwater pool a few steps from the condo.

This condo is a corner unit and angled in such way that the windows provide almost 180-degree views of the water and beach. You can see and toast to sunsets every day. There are very few comparable condos that can boast this.

The island offers 7 miles of pristine sand beaches with plentiful shells, starfish, sand dollars and shark’s teeth. Dolphin and manatee are abundant in the surrounding waters. During the summer, the beach is a nesting spot for endangered sea turtles which lay their eggs in the warm sand near the dunes.

Other island activities include world class tarpon, redfish, and snook fishing. Fish from the dock, beach or with a local fishing charter. Dock your boat (22 ft. max) at the Placida Beach docks. The dock is available on a first come basis*. Off island there are nearby golf courses, boat, kayak and canoe rentals, great restaurants and a grocery store.

*Docking fee determined by and paid directly to Placida Harbour Club. Docks not available during peak season Jan through April and are arranged through the Placida Harbour Club.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Your stay includes free parking within the gated Placida Harbour Condominiums (PHC) on the mainland side. It also includes complimentary ferry rides from PHC to and from the island. The ferry runs every hour from 9am- 6pm daily. Extended hours in the evening on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays. There are no cars, and there are no stores, or restaurants on the Island.

Before you depart for the island, bring your food, drinks, fishing poles and luggage; and ENJOY the serenity and seclusion of this beach. Wheelbarrow type carts are available for you to use. Once on the island, the only vehicles are golf carts and bicycles.

You will have Suncoast high speed internet, with Roku TV providing both local channels and more than 100 other channels to choose from. There is also a 150 plus DVD movie collection.

Beachfront but isolated

Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating for our whole family. Most days we had the whole beach to ourselves and had a blast. Only downside was the scarcity of ferry trips to and from the mainland and no accomodations for outside their normal hours.

I think this is the best place to stay while at LGI because it has the pool and the shuttle to the mainland every hour included. Nice view from this condo. Owner was very responsive to questions, etc.

Why they chose this property

We started visiting the West Coast of Florida about 10 years ago and immediately felt it was where we'd like to spend more of our vacations. In 2015 as my wife was visiting Captiva Island for a sailing trip I happen to look at Google Maps and noticed several barrier islands just north. That next week I went down and we found Little Gasparilla Island. As soon as we walked on the island it felt like we were on vacation in the Caribbean. We spent some time thinking how nice this location is and decided while we might not be ready we we're going to buy our condo 'SeaScape'. We enjoy all our time on the island, but since we haven't retired just yet, we've decided to try renting while we're not using it ourselves. Please enjoy our place, we believe you'll feel just as relaxed and rejuvenated as we do after a visit.
