Originally I was from Southern PA in Somerset County. 20 years ago my husband and I took a leap of faith and decided to quit our regular jobs and purchase an existing property with 6 cabins. We are in our 20th year.
Why they chose this property
I grew up coming to visit my aunt and uncle's camp. When I got married, I wanted to share that experience with my growing family. There was so much to do in the area. we enjoyed the river, hiking trails, and camping. We decided to make a move and start this business.
What makes this property unique
This light pine log cabin sleeps up to eight guests, featuring two bedrooms with new queen log beds and an open loft with twin log beds. Enjoy a full kitchen, Franklin fireplace, free Wi-Fi, DirecTV HD, and a spacious living area with a futon for guests and a cathedral ceiling. The cabin also includes a porch with a charcoal grill, and a campfire area.
*The Full Kitchens in each cabin include a Coffee Pot and Filters, Pots and Pans, Dishes and Utensils, Dish Soap, Hand Soap, and Dish Towels.
*The Indoor Bathrooms are equipped with Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, and Bath Mats.
*The Bedrooms in each cabin have all-new mattresses and beds with bedding, pillows, and blankets.
*Every cabin features a Wood Burning Fireplace, a small stack of firewood for $5 a bundle, an outdoor fire ring, and a charcoal grill. You will need to provide the charcoal.
