The home was beautiful! I truly felt like I stepped into the world of The Great Gatsby!! Definitely had plenty of photo opportunities in this home! The check in process was unclear with the codes getting in initially, and response time. The only complaint we really had was it smelled like cat urine all over downstairs, but I went to the store and bought something to mask the smell for the duration of the trip. And when we left we returned it as it was when we came in. I’d come back better prepared!

The house is over 100 years old and definitely has a musky smell sometimes but I have never had another guest describe it as cat urine. I am sorry this was your experience. This is the type of issue that should be addressed while staying. We would have been more than happy to take care of it while you are there. I could have provided something to help with the smell while you were there and then I would have known to do something more after you left. I messaged you 12 minutes after your first message about the keycode and you weren’t even at the property yet. I believe that is a quick response time. I explained that I consistently have issues with.VRBO not saving the keycode on the reservation.

Great stay

Very comfortable and spacious. Had some issues with check-in but I blame the VRBO app more than anything. The backyard was very nice and it was a great place to stay with family.

Awesome choice!

This house was the perfect in-town getaway for my staff and I. The listing was accurate in every sense, so clean and had everything we needed for a few days away.

The home itself is stunning. It gave the atmosphere hostess was going for. The hostess responses were rapid (thank you for your quick response). When we arrived the neighbor next door started taking pictures of us with her cell phone which felt uncomfortable. The upstais shower had a previous guest pubic hairs in it which demonstrated it wasn't properly cleaned. There was no iron and ironing board so we had to use the dryer to get the wrinkles out of our clothes. Two of the three issues could have been overlooked but the bathroom was my biggest concern.

We just stayed one night, but we'll return the next time we visit our parents. Perfect for playing a few card games with the family and sitting around chatting. We felt like we should've brought fancy clothes for a photo shoot in the foyer! Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. (Neighborhood cats saying hello on the porch we're an added bonus)

It was a very clean property with a ton of space with updated bathrooms and kitchen. The only thing to note is the area around is up and coming, but seems a little sketchy.
