beautiful and secluded
This cabin was just as described, plenty of room for our family to explore around or stay in when we wished. The beds and couches were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and way more, I was very impressed. Watching the clouds move through and sunrise and set from the porch was just amazing, the view was even amazing from the dining room table. Lisa was great to deal with and in constant contact if we needed anything. The surrounding area is amazing with lots to do and places to hike and explore. Just a short enjoyable drive to Smokey Mountain National Park and of course Clingmans Dome, the view never gets old. We misread that there was no washer and dryer however a laundromat close, Suds your duds, offers a drop off service and was very affordable, clean and helpful about have our laundry cared for while we were out in the area for the day. If we are ever back in this area, as I hope one day to be, we will definitely stay again! Thank you for offering such a beautiful cabin.
Great Cabin with Beautiful View!
We really enjoyed our stay! It was exactly what we were hoping for in a mountain cabin. The view was spectacular and it is conveniently located to waterfalls, rafting and Sylva/Dillsboro towns for shopping and restaurants.
Thanks for your kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed your time at our cabin and were able to enjoy some outside activities! We look forward to your return.

Lovin’ Cabin Fever!
My family and I were looking for the perfect “get-a-way,” and we found it! We fell in love with this cabin from the moment we viewed it online up until the time we had to leave. Everything we could have hoped for, we found it in Sylva, North Carolina. The view was perfect and the cabin was perfect. There’s not one thing negative I can say about this cabin. It met every expectation that we were looking for and then some! Aside from the quietness of the area and the cabin being perfect, Lisa went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Even before we left for our trip, she was already in constant check with my wife about the details. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed and even before we left the cabin to return home, we were already talking about when we could come back.
Thanks so much, Lisa! You helped our stay at your cabin be the best it could possibly be!
Don’t delay, Book today! You won’t regret it!

Cozy, Secluded Log Cabin, But Lacks Cleanness
I had a 3-night stay here. Most of the time I spent outdoors; viewing the smokey mountains, and sitting by the fire. The time I did spend inside the house, I noticed many bugs. Initially, I found no problem with this, because after all we are in the middle of the woods! But, the same bug kept reappearing, to the point where it was on the toilet when I went to go use the bathroom! I decided not to stay the last night of my stay after releasing how many there were. I messaged the property owner the day of my original scheduled departure date to let her know what happened, and she determined after checking the property there were no live bugs. They seemed not to believe me and offered a courteous partial refund for one night. I suggested they stay in the house for a few hours rather then check for 10 mins! The place had all the features you could want in the mountains, but it lacked cleanliness and was full of stink bugs! People should not be staying there in those conditions.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry you found the cabin unclean. We pride ourselves on 'attention to detail' and cleanliness. I have spoken with our cleaning company and they went up today and did a thorough deep cleaning.
Our pest control company came up today and thoroughly inspected the outside and found a small hole on side of cabin where the 'stink' bugs were entering. The hole was filled and the cabin was sprayed outside and inside by the pest control company. We care about our renters and again apologize for any inconvenience.

Why Lisa Ware chose Sylva
We always wanted an authentic log cabin and this one is amazing due to the high quality craftsmanship of the cabin. This cabin is 'one of a kind' due to the long range mountain view and elevation at 3,600 feet. Also, the covered front porch with rocking chairs is pure serenity! If you want peace, tranquility and time to get away from it all~~then this is the cabin for you!
What makes this Cabin unique
This cabin is special for many reasons!!! Real log cabin; wood-burning fireplace; vaulted ceilings; outside fire pit facing the mountain; backyard picnic table with grill; hiking trails from the cabin; surrounded by nature! Wild turkeys frequent the property and are very entertaining to watch from the front porch. You will not only relax at this cabin, but you will go home and want to return again and again!
