Often described as “the hidden jewel”, Mazatlan is a unique destination that offers a blend of beautiful beaches, close access to entertainment and amazing restaurants, combined with the authenticity of a colonial historical downtown that is rich with culture and local flair. That is why Mazatlan was named by The New York Times as 24th on a list of 53 best places in the world to visit in 2008.
Our family has traveled all over the world and to many tourist destinations within Mexico but we fell in love with Mazatlan on our first visit 12 years ago, which is why we purchased our condo in the Paraiso development, considered to be the premier private development in Mazatlan.
Our condo is bright open and airy offering beautiful oceanfront panoramic views. With two master bedrooms/ensuite bathrooms, the condo comfortably sleeps six, with a king bed, queen and double sleeper sofa. Beautifully decorated, the living room and kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, TV, DVD and high-speed Internet. From your private balcony overlooking the ocean and islands, watch beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine or enjoy an intimate sunset dinner of fresh fish from the local market.
If you have are planning a large family gathering or with friends a private elevator connects our condo to the resort penthouse overhead (that can also be rented) so that you have a 6-bedroom luxury retreat. The penthouse offers three master suite bedrooms and an additional bedroom with private bathroom. Between the 4-bedroom penthouse and the 2-bedroom condo, up to 14 guests can enjoy ultimate luxury and resort living enjoying vivid sunsets and views of the Mazatlan coastline, islands and night lights.
The property is loaded with high-end amenities including 24 hour gated security, indoor and outdoor infinity pools, Jacuzzi, tennis court (that is lit at night); fitness gym, barbecues, ping pong, free Internet access and lounging room. An outdoor pool side bar and restaurant offers daily fresh fish, great food, cocktails and beers at low prices.
Paraiso is located in Neuvo Mazatlan just 5-8 minutes from the Marina and the Golden zone where businesses, restaurant, bars and discos are located. La Gallerias, a high-end shopping mall with designer stores, cinemas, restaurants, bowling alley and kids play area is only 5 minutes away. Old Mazatlan, a beautiful colonial town is a 20-minute ride offering amazing restaurants, bars and local crafts. Transportation is very reasonable at about $5.00 for a cab or open air taxi ride or a .50 bus ride. The bus system is very simple and convenient to use.
