Desirable tranquil family home in York Harbor!

Five bedrooms – Three 2nd floor bedrooms have ceiling fans, Two 3rd floor bedrooms have A/C units. A pack'n play is available.

Hardwood floors throughout. Newer kitchen with breakfast nook, stainless appliances, and laundry. Living room with TV, built-ins and fireplace. Formal dining room seats ten. Three season porch is perfect setting to relax and enjoy sunsets overlooking Barrells Mill Pond and Wiggly Bridge.

Within walking distance to all - Harbor Beach, Fisherman’s Walk, Wiggly Bridge, Steedman Woods, and York Village (library, post office, yoga, bagel shop, diner, ice cream). For winter visitors Lilac Cottage is within a 1 hour drive from 3 downhill ski resorts and 2 nordic ski centers.

Detached recreational room with 3/4 bath is located behind the house. There is a queen sleeper sofa, table with stools, large flat screen tv and additional seating available in the rec room. This bonus space provides another place for guests to sleep and spend time together.

Outdoor patio area with comfortable lounge seating area and table with umbrella. This area provides an amazing outdoor area to gather, relax and eat outside. There is also a new lawn area on the left side of the house that is available for use. We have additional Adirondack chairs available for overflow seating.

There is a 2 car garage and plenty of additional outdoor parking available.

House has high speed Internet and Netflix access.

No smoking allowed. No dogs allowed.

When applicable in the colder months, please leave the heat set to 60 on the 1st and 2nd floor. The baseboard heaters on the 3rd floor should be turned off completely.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Our neighbors are important to us. Please minimize noise between 10 pm and 8 am to allow for peaceful evenings.

It was such a a beautiful comfortable house (with the most comfortable beds!!), and the hosts were so communicative and had super fast response rates. Its also located next the famous Wiggly Bridge which was a fun after noon walk!

Perfect home as to use for wedding home base.

We stayed here with our immediate family and extended family for our daughter’s wedding weekend. It was great to meet the other family here for a bbq Thursday night. The bakery cousin backed all the cupcakes and their wedding cake in the kitchen. Oven was perfect! Elderly family members stayed in the “rec” room as there were less steps. This place is perfect for this or a couple of families on a holiday!

Our family enjoyed Christmas and New Year's Eve in this comfortable and convenient home. The location afforded views of the York River and lovely walks out the front door to the river and nearby York Harbor. Carin was an attentive host, and we left our stay feeling grateful for having found the perfect place for a long hoped-for family reunion.

Great house perfect location had everything we needed!

Everything was as described. Comfy beds plenty of room to relax. All the bedrooms are upstairs so those that get up early did have to worry too much about noise. Loved that location did lots of walking, relaxing and laughing. Highly recommend!

Spacious, well appointed house in York, Maine. Great location steps from the Wiggle Bridge and short walk to town and waterfront. Lovely front porch to enjoy views. Lots of space for extended family to spread out. Outdoor furniture was not out for our stay (it was beginning of summer season)

We had a nice stay at Carin’s. Very clean, nicely decorated, kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Some nice walks to take like .4 mi to town, less than a mile to York harbor beach. The only part that was a bit of an issue is that the third floor does not have a bathroom and the stairs are a bit narrow getting up to those 2 bedrooms

Best Ever

Mornings on the enclosed sun porch and late afternoons on the patio - this wonderful home was perfect for young adults as much as my elderly Dad. We loved the wonderfully equipped kitchen and the collection of games kept everyone occupied on a couple rainy days. The outdoor shower and beach chairs were much appreciated. Very nice home. Well kept with the traditional costal vibe. We would go back. The only thing to note is, based on theListing we were unde the impression the detached room was included in the rental price and when we received the check in instructions a. 100 fee would have been added if we used it, so we did not. But a beautiful home and walking to nature was a plus along with a/c units in the bedrooms upstairs. Thank you!

Amazing location, home and great host

My family and I were in a difficult situation with our rental backing out the day before our trip. We were able to book this location and have zero regrets. It was more than we expected. The home was beyond comfortable for our group and location could not have been better. The host was very responsive and kind to save our vacation/family reunion. When we come back to the area if this is available we will absolutely book here again.
