Stay comfortably a 1/2 mile from Kentucky Lake in this handcrafted 1-bedroom cabin with Queen bed memory foam and luxury linens, full bathroom featuring tub, shower, sink, toilet with state of the art on-demand water heater and linens.
We also offer a full kitchen; including dishwasher, full size stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, all pots pans, dishes, silverware plus a 18 c. foot fridge/freezer. We even have a WaterDrop (tm) filtered water station for drinking water. We equip you with coffee, tea, sweetener, creamer to get you going in the morning.
Washer and dryer included for your convenience.
The living room has 2 super comfy recliners, a couple of desk area for convenience and we even have a Queen size inflatable bed for unexpected guests. Of course, pillows and blankets go with. Relax around the cozy, electric fireplace, play some card games, or watch channels on the 50 inch flat screen. Free Wifi.
We even have a small, convenient dog pen just out the back door for when your four-legged Amigo needs a break.

A Minnesota native, we moved to Tennessee about ten years ago. We love getting away from northern winters and spending the time in Tennessee with our dogs. I have been a newspaper editor and publisher over the last quarter century and am blessed to be able to work online from this beautiful area. We offer this for rent during the summer months while we live on our farm in Minnesota.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this quiet area beside Kentucky Lake after I bought this property and began construction on this small cabin here in 2022. The year I spent building the cabin was so peaceful and relaxing and every part of the home has wonderful memories.
We spent so many funs days on the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers and know that it will be a special place for others to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

This is a quiet corner lot next to Kentucky Lake with hardly any traffic. The cabin has a 42' wide porch where one can sit and watch the evening settle in as you savor the sunset. My wife and I are both writers and find inspiration out here next to nature. I walk the dogs every morning with the scent of trees and flowers, sound of birds singing all around and the serenity of nature. We have a driveway that allows one to pull though even with a pick-up and boat trailer and wide enough to park two vehicles in front of the cabin. The yard is spacious enough sit back and enjoy a campfire in the fire pit
