The place was charming and great. Nice very quiet surroundings. Was closer to the lake than I expected. Would gladly rent it again.And, the hostess was great in promptly answering all my questions prior to check-in and during visit. Feel like we made a great choice.

Just right for a family of 5. Close to many activities and necessities; whether walking or a quick drive. Just the right amount of space for relaxing and sleeping. Would love to visit again!

Great place. Perfectly located by the lake with a short walk that my 4yr old didn't mind to take. Also had the perfect setup for kids with beach area, basketball, playground,etc. A couple minor issues with tv and the jet tub but owner provided a small refund without hesitation and had great communication. Will stay again

Perfect cozy spot

We were in town for a reunion. The place was perfect for what we needed. Close to town, quite neighborhood, the house was clean, had every thing we needed, and the host was easy to contact and help. We recommend.

Access to the lake was fantastic. Rented dock space - perfect location for us to use our boat. Neighborhood was adorable-very kind people walking everywhere with their dogs. Perfect for biking/scooters/skateboards. Very close to a great playground:Immediate help when we locked ourselves out! Very cozy space-my kids absolutely loved having TVs in every room. Beds and couch were comfortable. Everything we needed was in the house/provided by owner. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Great Property and proximity to activities

We stayed for an extended weekend. The pictures do not do it justice! The house was very clean, the rooms are much larger than what is pictured, the beds were very comfortable, they have blackout curtain curtains, and the host was extremely responsive. The house is very close to an amazing bagel shop, a great park, the lake, and a beach. We had adults, 12yo, 9yo, and 1yo. Highly recommended!

Jack's Shack was everything the listing said it was! Toni was an amazing hostess and sent a screenshot of an activity that was posted on the town's facebook page that popped up in case I wanted to take my granddaughter. We were a block and a half from the beach which was wonderful and about the same from the delicious Lakeside Bagels. I loved browsing the antique store, Yaas above Lakeside Bagels and we were only a 13 mile drive to Millcreek Mall. We stayed during the hottest days of the summer. It was over 90 each day we were there. The air conditioners kept us very cool at night which was a blessing! We all slept like a rock from our activities during the day! The cottage was stocked with everything we could need. Thank you for thinking of everything!
