Welcome to Moon Dogs Getaway! We are excited to host you in our fully renovated 2 bedroom, one bath cottage with fully fenced backyard in Erie PA. At Moon Dogs you will find peace and quiet, but be close to everything fun Erie has to offer. Try the beaches at Presque Isle State Park or Waldameer and Water World amusement park. Adventure awaits!

Great dog friendly place to stay in Erie! We were there to visit family for Thanksgiving and needed a dog friendly place to stay. This place doesnt just allow dogs - they are welcomed whole heartedly! The hosts provide dog beds, bowls, and have a lovely fenced in back yard. Will absolulty look into staying here again - especially if we come in the summer since it is close the the lakefront and the waterpark.

Cute little cottage like home. Very close to everything in Erie that you would do with a family. Huge back yard that the dogs could run in and get their energy out in. Clean and comfortable.

Bright home close to the lake

Easy check in. Walkable and safe neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Nicely fenced back yard. Close to local attractions and restaurants. INCREDIBLY well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Chris (owner) very responsive to messages.

Great for traveling with a dog

The property suited our needs nicely and they had everything to make sure your dog can be with you while you are traveling. Very nice accommodations and near anything a family could want to do in Erie.

Loved this home and how dog friendly it is! Great location, quiet area, easy check in/out and responsive host. Our dog loved the cozy beds in front of the windows and our teens enjoyed the mini fooz ball game. We would stay again and recommend to others! Thank you for the great stay!

Adorable cottage

We stayed at Moondog Getaway to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and the Total Eclipse! The home was set in a perfect location to walk down to the shoreline on Lake Erie! Home was perfect!

We were very pleased with the dog friendly house, especially the Dog Wall of Pictures. They thought of everything to make us and our two Whippets welcome. Dog bowls and towels to wipe paws if necessary. Everything was provided to make our week so relaxing and enjoyable. We plan on coming back because the location was so convenient to stores and attractions. Even the LucyDesi Museum.

Visiting Family in Erie

Just what we needed! I nice well stocked clean home to stay at with our dog while we were in town visiting our son, daughter-in-law and all the Grands. Kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets and dishes. Nice fenced yard for the dog. Quiet neighborhood.

Super clean, cute and a great location! We loved Moon Dogs Getaway. Chris was the perfect host and easy to communicate with. When in Erie next, will absolutely stay here if it’s not booked.

Overall as advertised. Great location. Air&heat worked well. Bed comfortable. Kitchen stuff worked.Needed instructions for washer/dryer, toaster oven filthy and should be replaced. TV difficult to use and find our shows, since we are not a Prime member.Should have been cleaner and was not ready two hours after our check-in time. We had to leave and come back…clearly a screw up. When we did come back to move in there was laundry still in the dryer.

Great Stay in Erie!

We were happy with the house and the location during our stay in Erie. While we didn't get to enjoy the lake, its in a great location. Chris was very helpful during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean when we got there and perfect size for what we needed.

Hello there! I'm Chris and my wife Marni and I are the host for Moon Dogs Getaway, however my full time gig is an interior designer at my company Studio 42 Design. We currently have three dogs, Remi, Theo, and Georgie who just love trips to the cottage. We are huge craft beer fans and never miss a good live show. We live in Pittsburgh, but I have been coming to Erie for summers since before I was born and also attended Mercyhurst University way back in the day. We look forward to you staying with us!
