My five friends and I returned to Ely Rose for a second stay after our cruise. Since we were early, we were allowed to drop off our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned and we left until late afternoon. The apartment was spotless when we returned. Do yourself a favor and give Ely Rose a try.

This is a beautiful apartment right in the center of walking distance to everything. Although is was in the center of Rome, it was fairly quiet as it is up above the street noise. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are newly renovated with towel heaters. There are heatpumps to cool the apartment down if needed but we visited in October so we did not need that ammenity. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and laundry machine. The outdoor patio is lovely. Our hosts Elisa and Sandro were very communicative and helpful. They answered all of our questions in a timely way and provided a booklet of local sites, and recommended restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again when given the opportunity and highly recommend this apartment to other travelers.

Great location and a wonderful host. Once we figured out the dryer it worked great although we were also able to put clothes out on a drying rack on the patio. Patio was lovely, if not smaller than it looks in the photo. We had a great stay!

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment! I was sad we were only spending 2 days there. The terrace off the porch is incredible and has views of the church next door and the city below. If you're on the fence, this is the perfect place for your stay in Rome. Owners are wonderful to work with.

This beautiful apartment was the perfect hub for visiting Rome. Our hosts communicated with us throughout our stay, ensuring that we knew of any events in the city that may impact our visit. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The patio was the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. With two metro stations nearby, it was very easy to get around the city. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was absolutely adorable and quaint. Everything was walking distance or a short uber drive away. I loved having the cute cafe near by for a nice lunch or drinks at night. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful place, absolutely immaculate with the blessing of fantastic AC system! We loved that the Colosseum was an easy walk away, and enjoyed the terrace as well! Also, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in on such a vacation. Wonderful.

Comfortable and scenic retreat for sightseeing American dam

Comfort/ease- beds are comfortable, air conditioning is GREAT, black out shades, washing machine, full kitchen, lift ( we mostly hiked up the 5 flights but great for bags, shopping etc).Location- close to train station and metro, very close to double decker tours, if interested- Santa Maria maggiore is right next to apartment ( this is where pope Francis just buried), not too touristy so the cafes and markets are mostly for locals.Views- there are balconies off bedrooms. The patio is shaded in afternoon and even in July very comfortable.Communication- cinzia and Sandro are very attentive. Sandro met us at apartment when we arrived and oriented us to the home and are. He also arranged transport to airport for us. They have a booklet with good recommendations and tips. We traveled for 2.5 weeks around Europe with our kids mostly at smaller hotels- this place was perfect for rounding out our trip and being able to space out and cook a meal on our own.

We are a family of 3. My father is a lawyer, my mother works in international arena, and I am graduated in International Relations. Renting ElyRose has become a family bonding activity. We like to take care of our guests directly, as we truly belive no great manager can ever substitute the owner.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property was inherited by my mother from her high school chemistry teacher. Therefore, just as tourists keep Rome alive, foreigners will help us to keep her memory alive. The name ElyRose is part of my name, Elisa, and part of her's, Rosa.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Big terrace, which is very rare in the city centre, central position and nonetheless an authentic Roman neighborhood, so great area in terms of restaurants, shops and starting point for a discovery stroll in the heart of Rome.
