What a fabulous property! Gorgeous home with stunning lake views and all the special touches made our long weekend an extra-special getaway. The layout of the house was perfect with privacy & ample space for our families which included adult couples and teenage children. The kitchen was so well stocked and spacious. Plenty of refrigerator space which is important for feeding a crowd! Our group enjoyed lake time, Clemson football, and golf. A perfect weekend. We will rent this home again!

Beautiful remote lake house

Beautiful home on Lake Keowee. Plenty of beds between the loft and bunk room for kids. Huge kitchen for family meals. The beds were firm and worn in. A few small issues over our stay but nothing major. Appliances not working as normal. Internet was spotty. Fireplaces non functional. Nothing major.

Perfect spot

Such a wonderful long weekend spent at this beautiful home with extended family. Loved that everyone had their own bedroom/bathroom and still had a ton of communal space. Kitchen was a dream and very well-appointed!

Post Pretty Place Wedding Dinner Party

This property was perfect for our gathering-spacious with a grand kitchen and entertainment space. Our dinner was catered by Reeves Catering, the food and service fantastic. Our guests enjoyed the lake and had fun in the evening telling stories and enjoying the view around the fire pit. This is a truly beautiful and well maintained home. and

Excellent stay

Amazing property on every dimension. Ample room for friends and family. The kitchen is super large with every possible amenity, utensil, dish, pot/pan, etc. So many bathrooms. Rooms are very large, and spread out. TWO laundry rooms. FOUR fridges, with many ice makers. AC worked great. All smart TVs worked great. Beds were very comfortable. The general decour/style/trim/etc is the best I've seen in a rental. Outside: ample parking, excellent fire pit, gentle slope to the lake and great beach and dock. Zero negative items for this property!

Great Time!

We had a fantastic stay here celebrating our daughter’s graduation from college. Lots to do with the family. Even the grandparents (in there late 70’s early 80’s) enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and docked it at house. Lots of kitchen space to cook for our big group.

Easter at the lake

This home is extraordinary! We are always looking for places close to Clemson, as my daughter attends school there. We spent Easter close by since she couldn’t make it home this year. This home checks all the boxes, for all ages and all occasions. The view was absolutely one of the best I’ve seen on any of the lakes. You pretty much have a panoramic view from every spot in the house. The bedrooms were extremely large as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and absolutely huge, perfect for cooking and large gatherings. There is a small private beach in the backyard next to the dock for everyone to get wet and enjoy without having to get totally submerged having to jump off of a dock, which is most cases. Paddle boards are awesome and the fire pit even better. There’s plenty of seating everywhere outside and on the porch for dining. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this home!!!

TerryFest

Big Water Villa was perfect for our family of 14 to spend Christmas.(8 adults, 6 kids ages 3-11) The decorations for the holiday was a nice touch. The big kitchen was a huge plus with plenty of room for multiple people to prepare meals. The 2 tables off the kitchen were good for us all to eat together. The big dining room table was perfect for working on puzzles and arts and crafts. We hope to return for a summer visit sometime in the near future.

Family weekend for Clemson vs. UNC football game

This property was immaculate, well equipped and extremely roomy for our group of 11 guests. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host accommodated our request for late checkout which allowed us to enjoy a leisurely morning and easy checkout. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this property without hesitation.

Memorable 50th Anniversary Celebration!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful with beautiful views of the lake, and it more than adequately housed the 14 of us. We enjoyed the water, playing in the game room, conversations in the large common areas, and a bonfire each night. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to easily prep all of our meals. Carol and Katie were responsive to our needs. We would love to come again!

Great Family Trip!

We stayed at this property visiting one of our daughters at Clemson. The communication with the property manager was excellent. The house exceeded our expectations. The upstairs indoor / outdoor area was great for family meals and hanging out together. Everyone enjoyed the lake and beach area, including the paddle boards and kayak that were included with the stay. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The house was close enough to Clemson as well, so we were easily able to enjoy the campus and tailgating for the football game. This house will definitely be on our list for future trips down to the area.

Great communication

The house is amazing! Kitchen is extremely well stocked. Nice pans, pots, knives, vegetable peelers, lime juicer, and anything else you need. I loved the multiple refrigerators. This house is ready to host. We also had a malfunction that needed attention, and we received the best communication and help throughout the process. Carol immediately got people over to fix it. This was very appreciated. Thanks for providing a great place for our family for the week!

We are the Sommerville, from Maryville, TN. We built this lake house as a "labor of love" especially for our children and grandchildren who live in this area. Since none of us are planning to live here, and to help with all the many expenses, we are also renting the property for vacation purposes. Thanks to the Sommerville, SR. family, for generations we have been able to enjoy lake vacations around Lake Lure, NC. We know the tremendous values and joys of spending time together at the lake, so wanted to continue that legacy with our family and also for our vacation renters at Lake Keowee!

We chose Lake Keowee because it is such a beautiful, pristine lake and because of it's location close to both sets of our children and their children.

* It's on Lake Keowee
* It's on the east side of the lake, closer to Greenville.
* It's proximity to our kids and grandkids
* It's big water views
* It has its own private beach
* It was perfect for a home with a full walk out basement
* It's very close to the water....not a long steep hike!
* It's in a lovely section of the lake, surrounded by The Cliff's and The Reserve (private, upscale resorts).
* It is close to Clemson University and Furman University
* It is just 38 miles West of beautiful Greenville, SC
* We designed the house specifically for our needs and wants and for what vacation rentals would want.
* Great for all 4 Seasons!
* The house is very spacious - great for large family or multi family gatherings.
* The construction of the lake house was finished in the Spring of 2017.
