Well the good thing is the property is clean. There were ample window air conditioners so we were comfortable as well. Now the not so good....one hand towel, one bath towel, one washcloth per person. As someone who washes their face every night a few more washcloths would have been nice. The tv....one channel, the weather channel. The internet was out, initially, as well. I called our contact person who sent someone over to restart the wifi which helped. She had no idea about the tv. I emailed our contact person twice with no response. I messaged the property managers company and got automated messages about how they would help but nothing was ever done. I also asked if there was wood for the fire pit. Again, no response. We had a good time on our trip but the accommodations were not what we expected. Oh yeah and that train that powers by the bedroom window at all hours of the night....dont expect to get a good night's sleep here. Do not recommend.
We loved staying here, the decor was cozy and fun and we had everything we needed. The trains went by more often than I originally expected but it wasn’t anything too annoying. We had a nice weekend as a family and would definitely stay here again in the future

Great Cabin!
We loved our stay! The cabin is super clean, you have everything you need and beyond. Kitchen is equipped with all needed equipment. The owners are nice to even leave charcoal for barbecue!
The cabin was easy to find and incredibly clean. Household amenities provided and fantastic decor. Conveniently located for our needs. Spacious living spaces with comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely stay again if on the area.

The cabin is very nice, easy to access and in a beautiful place. It's pretty noisy off a highway and next to train tracks so we didn't get a ton of sleep
Getting to this cabin is very easy, since it is just off of I 35! The quality of workmanship inside and the attention to details make this a great choice for a get away. The trains were distracting, but overall, it was a nice week!
Loved this cute Vrbo. Had a great time in the area. Recommend fancy pants wine. Just wish I would have brought ear plugs for the train that is super close by
We loved it just felt bad because we couldnt clean up the way we wanted to.

Absolutely beautiful.
We could not have been more surprised at how nice this cabin is. Was skeptical at first when booking online, but was very pleased upon arrival. Very clean and well furnished. I can see us coming back each fall!

Thanks very much Amy. We look forward to seeing you again next year!!
This was a last-minute trip for my husband and I. We chose this location because of the high ratings and appearance of the cabin. The cabin is clean, beautiful and comfortable. It is in a small town, not too far from local restaurants, a gas station, the great Mississippi River, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the free ferry 5 minutes from the cabin which you can drive on to get across the river to Iowa. My husband and I spent the day riding around a beautiful trail and then came back around lunch time. The following day we entered one of the many reasonable boat docks to cruise around the Mississippi. I am an avid birder and photographer. I was amazed to see so many Bald Eagles, sitting not too far off the lake on fallen trees. One thing I want to let others know is that is it situated between a main highway and railroad track. Since it was the two of us, I was not particularly concerned about the highway due to the population yet the train coming through every 30 minutes day and night was a bit unnerving initially. My saving grace was the box fan I bring for background noise and also a set of earplugs. That is what I suggest for all who are sensitive to noise. Given the fact it is a side-by-side duplex, we had neighbors, but they were very nice and respectful. We chatted briefly and did not hear any loud noises at night and for the most part stayed to ourselves. As long as you prepare for the train, all should go well for your trip.

Nice clean cabin on main hiway
The cabin was very clean and easily accessible. As advertised it is close to a train track that has multiple trains passing daily. However, we did not find this to be a huge distraction. Also, there is considerable traffic on the hiway during the day but again was not a huge distraction. We would stay here again as we lover the location.
The cabin was immaculate, well stocked, and tastefully decorated. The linens were top notch and the dishes were nice and in good shape. There was plenty of dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There were also many board games, card games and DVDs available, although we didn't even use the TV. It was easy to book and check in. The other side of the duplex was occupied by two very nice fishermen and we didn't hear them at all. I didn't realize how often the trains would go by.
Very clean & easy to find. The host (Janet) made sure to communicate clearly about a road closure. Just a very quiet, relaxing spot with lots of hiking & outdoor fun, right on the mississippi.

Yes, there are train rumbles and the highway is noisy, but the cabin was wonderful, clean, and we enjoyed the bonfire in the yard. With the air on, we didn't hear anything inside. Good location with restaurants down the road either way.
