Charming 4 bed/ 2 bath cabin nestled in the hills of Northeast Iowa just South of Lansing Iowa. Brand New Outdoor Hot Tub Jacuzzi, and swimming pool. Galley kitchen with custom cabinets and built-in desk. Enjoy the warm atmosphere and natural light of the open eating area, great room with vaulted ceilings. The cabin features a bedroom and bath on main floor; bedroom and additional sleeping area with another bedroom & bath on upper level. Hide-a-bed sofa on Main Floor & Rec Room with Additional bedroom and Queen futon in Main area. Other outside amenities include a stamped covered front porch, large patio perfect for outdoor entertaining, and outdoor firepit, indoor wood stove, & pool table. Within easy driving distance to Waukon, Harpers Ferry or Prairie du Chien. Close to the Mississippi River, Yellow River State Forest, Effigy Mounds and many other outdoor recreational locations. Sleeps up to 14.

Hot tub is available all year round.
Pool is open Memorial day to Labor Day weekend.
2 night minimum stay for weekends & holidays in winter-
3 night minimum stay for weekends in summer ( memorial day weekend to labor day weekend ).
- Pet fee is per pet.
-propane for grill and firewood are not provided with this rental. Please bring your own firewood/buy it in local town. There will be a tank at property that can be filled in town as well.

The cabin was just as advertised and we had a great stay. The hot tub and fire pit were highlights! It was close to a lot of activities and attractions in the area. We’ll be back if we’re in the area again.

My daughter and I booked this for a quiet birthday trip for her birthday. The cabin was wonderful! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and a wonderful game room with a pool table! It was too cold for the pool and we didn’t utilize the hot tub but it looked fabulous! Would stay here again!! Cindy

Amenities-pool and hot tub were very nice, house was nice had everything needed for our stay. There was a lot of general maintenance things that were frustrating - the outside hose is falling apart and has 1 spot where half the water leaks out from it. The house itself could use a day of deep cleaning, bathroom vents stocked full of dust, there were 3 vacuums on the site, but only 1 seemed to work. Same with the pool there were 2 pool vacuums but only 1 worked which was the manual one. Beds all had middle support slats that were busted so beds folded inwards like a taco. Overall we did enjoy our stay. The location is great, you’re away from town, but not so far that it is inconvenient. Outside yard was well maintained and had been freshly mowed before our arrival which was nice with bringing 3 dogs along.

The hot tub was relaxing! The house had a weird urine type smell in the the kitchen area. The host did not give us our door code until 3:55 and I had to text her to ask for it. Other than that, it was a nice cabin. Nice hot tub. Nice scenery.

The house was clean and fit the needs of our large group (6 adults and 4 kids). The hot tub didn’t work the 2nd day and the host responded with some trouble shooting ideas but still didn’t work. We also had some issues with the fridge in the kitchen not being cold enough but there was a second one so that was helpful. Outdoor fire pit and grill was a bonus for dinner and hanging out at night. Minor inconveniences along the way but overall was fine for our purposes.

Fun family friend stay

Very impressed with house. So much room to spread out and fit our family perfect. We loved the pool and the hot tub. And loved having 2 refrigerators.

Weekend stay

We stayed for the weekend with friends. The kids loved the loft area! The area was quiet and secluded but just a short drive to town. Good communication with the host, quick to respond, easy check in and out.
