We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The property was absolutely gorgeous, and the setting was incredibly serene and tranquil. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the lake. The house was exceptionally clean and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, and every detail made the home feel welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself was just stunning, and we loved being able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
Overall the cabin and location of cabin were great. It's obvious that the owner/host hasn't been to the property recently as there are several items that need attention (nail sticking out of a stair, rugs that need new grippers, leak around fireplace that looks like mold starting, garbage under the house and a section of the driveway area that's very treacherous). However, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The host didn't stand by the checkout time that was listed all throughout the listing, which wasn't a big deal, but still wasn't appreciated.
This was such a lovely place to stay for a family member’s wedding in Opelika. The home is cozy and clean with plenty of space for entertaining. The outside though- wow! We stayed in March and were blessed with the best weather. The kids played outside and fished for two days straight! We grilled and played cornhole in the evening. It was so relaxing! We ended up adding an extra night because of bad weather we didn’t want to drive in and the host responded very quickly. We also brought our dogs, so I always appreciate a place where they can stay as well :) I highly recommend staying here and hope we can come back some time!

We left the beach and tourists for a bit of peace, quiet and relaxation. We got exactly what we were looking for and added an extra day to our stay.
Secluded, secure property with a very large kitchen area. The private drive through the property is a little rocky, but drivable. We have a SUV and did just fine, but would think a lower to the ground car may have an issue.
Approximately 10-12 miles to Auburn this would be a great game weekend retreat. We ran into town each down to eat and shop. We fished caught large mouth bass and huge blue gill. Catch and release only. The sunset view is amazing.
The only issue we encountered was red ants. Not much you can do about those. If you live in the south you know it’s an up hill battle. They were in the grass areas here and there, so you had to keep an eye out if you were walking through the grass.
Our host Emily was awesome! She communicated very well and responded to my emails almost immediately. We will definitely keep this property in our favorites for future bookings!
We had an enjoyable time at the Farm Getaway….very clean, well appointed. Very peaceful sitting on the back deck overlooking the pond as well as on the covered patio. Nice assortment of outdoor games that we didn’t use but are in the home. Plenty of outdoor seating. Emily was very prompt with all communication and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!
