This was our 2nd time in 3 yers staying here! Our dog loves it, we spent 4 nights, had beautiful weather, a wonderful way to start of spring break. The area is beautiful, drove up to snake road. Tom is a great hostWe will be back
Lovely, retro feel, close to campus and town. Wooded property, beautiful views out windows, private deck, wood burning fireplace. Saw an owl! Fishing very nearby but not exactly lakefront. Shower is excellent, kitchen has everything
This was our second weekend at Cabin 3. We love the fireplace, the low key, unobtrusive host, Tom, the quirky vibes, and the woods! Our dogs love being there and Tom doesn’t charge a ton of money for them to stay. The cabin was well equipped and we saw a large barn owl perch for about half an hour just beyond the bedroom window!
The cabin was as described. We enjoyed our overnight. The only negative is nobodys bed is my bed. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely consider staying again.
The cabin was cozy and in a great location. I loved all the artwork and decor. The host was friendly and available. We enjoyed the fireplace and the firepit. I would note that it only has one bed and a couch as the listing says it sleeps 4.
If you're looking for a five star all inclusive resort, this is not the place for you. It's a charmingly rustic cabin tucked back in the woods. I've seen the negative reviews complaining about the random vehicles parked about or sheds sitting here and there and to be honest it made me want to book it even more. The cabin was PERFECT. The host, Tom, was so welcoming. You feel like you're in the backwoods somewhere but you're only a minute from town. We throughly enjoyed our stay and our only complaint was that it wasn't long enough. If you're looking for something different I highly recommend this lovely little place!

Heather:Thanks for the great honest review tom and martha
The cabin was very cozy but unfortunately did not get to use the fireplace because of the warm weather. We are looking forward to come back this fall or winter.
Our host was very kind and responsive. The cabin was cozy and very quiet!

The large area around the cabin was like a junkyard. Inside was fine but plain.

outside the cabin is a 17 ft sailboat on a trailer and a 1994 toyota pickup and a backup generator shed. both are parked in a space 100 ft from the cabin. a 1/4 mile back you pass a working residence. you can't see it from the cabin the cabin sits alone surrounded by woods. no courtesy to address an issue face to face so I take all comments at "face" value"
Cute cabin, tucked back in the woods. There are out buildings nearby but no cabins nearby. Lots of cool artwork and a beautiful stone fireplace. Host checks in to see how you’re doing. Great AC!
The inside of the cabin was beautiful. The outside could use a little work but we weren't bothered and the host was very nice. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Half of the outlets didn’t work. Pictures of the outside view showed lakefront and it was not even close to the pond. Grill that was advertised was unusable.
