The place was exactly what we needed. We stayed there for a weekend of ice fishing, comfy beds, hot shower, big enough kitchen to move around in. Would stay there again if we go back to Big Stone and Ortonville.
Great place to stay and everything we need. Host was easy to work with and answered all questions promptly. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Would recommend.
Overall, my family had a good stay. The house is small, and the bedrooms are pretty tight. But it worked for our family. The owner's description is perfect; it's a neat little house with the basics, nothing too fancy. But we weren't looking for fancy. The location was great for our family, right across the road from the lake. There was a nice little beach area for my son to play, just a short walk from the house, as well as a neat little playground. We also enjoyed having the fenced-in area off the patio doors, which was perfect for my adventurous son and our dog. I will say the worst part of the trip was all the bees on the patio, although that isn't the owner's fault. But I am allergic to bees, so that was disappointing. It would have been nice to have a few extra blankets, but other than that, the necessities were provided, and the owner was quick with their responses the few times I had questions. We would stay again!
