My family had a fabulous time at this property. The location was perfect and the home was very clean and spacious. There were a few minor quirks but the owner was very quick to respond to messages. These issues in no way impacted our stay. All in all, we would definitely stay at this home again!!

We had a nice stay at the Silversands Lake house! Appreciated the space for a larger group and quite setting made it a nice long weekend getway! Logan was very responsive to all our needs also!

Our visit to Silversands was very nice and it was great accomodations for our group of 6 adults. The home was beautiful and was well stocked (basic neccessities were supplied). The sauna and hot tub were relaxing- bring robes when you visit in winter like us! Views of the lake from the house are mainly from the dining room. The hosts checked in on us which was appreciated also.Thank you for your hospitality!

Be aware, this house appears to be a business, not the owner's home that they lovingly care for and rent out. Having said that, after a rocky start, we did have a great time. When we arrived, we found the floors were not vacuumed at all. There were not only crumbs by the kitchen counters and table, but dirt from outside on the floors. We had a baby with us who was crawling and playing on the floor, so it was a problem for us. Logan responded to my text immediately. Unfortunately, there was no broom or vacuum available, but a vacuum was delivered fairly quickly. The wifi was not the one that was listed. The one that IS associated with the house is unsecured. The heat on the second floor was not working- by day two, the temp was 64 degrees. The handyman came and resolved that issue. There were other issues, but they did not ruin our stay. I will say again, Logan responded very quickly.The house is bright, spacious, private, and quiet. We spent a good amount of time in the game room playing pool and cards. We did not use the hot tub or sauna (because we were always busy doing other things), but they were both working. The area is great. There is hiking, breweries, wineries, and some very good restaurants.

Beautiful home

House is brand new and well furnished. Plenty of room for our group of 7. Enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, pool table, foosball, and the 2 arcade games. Logan communicated well with us and we appreciated recommendations for dinner. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this house. Large and beautiful living room and kitchen area. The bedrooms were all great! This house is not on the Lake and you can't walk to the lake. But the view was lovely and the accommodations highly recommended.

Beautiful house

My family, friends and I had an amazing time at this property. The owners thought of everything. There were so many things to do, we were never bored. The decor and the thought that went into decorating this house is nothing short of amazing. Beautiful community as well. Highly recommend!

The house was PERFECT. Logan and Bri were so responsive and immediately answered my questions. They accommodated my last minute request and were so wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend booking this house. As a bonus, it’s super close to the lake where you can rent a boat from Lansing Harbor or go hang at the park there - only 3 minutes down the road. And it’s 12 minutes from Ithaca airport. So happy with my stay and I hope to return!

Our big family of 16 enjoyed this entire house and amenities. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the downstairs area with arcade and games was non stop entertainment for the entire family. We enjoyed the fire pit with lots of chairs and could even see Lake Cayuga from our windows and front porch. We were close to the local marina to rent a pontoon and close enough to all the fun in Ithaca. The house is 55 minutes away from Watkins glen making it a perfect spot to see the waterfall must sees! The host was very attentive to whatever we needed.

This property is incredibly spacious! Our group of 14 had more than enough room to relax, socialize, and unwind comfortably. We especially appreciated how well organized everything was—from the initial communication with clear, helpful information, to the labeled cabinets, to the detailed checkout instructions.Logan was extremely responsive throughout our stay. When we had an issue with the coffee machine, he quickly ordered a replacement that arrived within the hour and even included coffee beans, which was a thoughtful touch. The kids—and the young at heart—had a blast playing the arcade games downstairs.Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hot tub and sauna, as we weren’t sure how to operate them and our stay was only two nights. A helpful suggestion would be to provide a simple user manual for the home’s amenities so guests can easily follow the instructions.Overall, we loved the house, the attention to detail, and Logan’s exceptional attentiveness. We would absolutely stay here again next year for our ski trip!

Beautiful Setting, Significant DisappointmentsWe stayed 7 nights to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The property has a lovely setting and good potential, but fell short in several ways.**Cleanliness:** Multiple bathrooms were visibly dirty on arrival, the refrigerator had a prior guest's food inside, the grill was heavily soiled, and deck furniture required cleaning. We purchased supplies and spent 3 hours cleaning before hosting guests.**Maintenance:** Loose barstools and dining chairs, detached fixtures, missing screws on a bedframe, non-functioning lights in multiple rooms, and faucet handles that simply lifted off.**Hot Tub:** Advertised but completely unusable — caked with algae and snails on arrival. We reported it immediately and were promised service the next day. We were asked to vacate the home twice for repairs that never happened. It remained unusable our entire stay. This was our biggest disappointment.If you are bringing kids - know that there is limited shade outside near hottub and live electrical outlets are against the kids beds.We understand turnovers are demanding, and we wanted to be fair. But a property sleeping 16 at a premium price should meet basic readiness standards. The repeated broken promises regarding the hot tub were particularly frustrating.We've requested a partial refund and hope to resolve this directly. Future guests should ask about current hot tub status and recent maintenance before booking.
