Perfect for tranquil getaway but yet close to Kyle Stadium if you enjoy A & M Football (30 miles) or if you prefer Antique Days in RoundTop approx 40 miles
In addition Somerville, Brenham and Chappell HIll all offer multitudes of enjoyment from the Lake Somerville, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Brazos Valley Brewing, shopping, and the Bluebonnet Festival int he spring and Scarecrow Festival in the fall in Chappel HIll. Also in the summer you can enjoy the Lavender Farm
Another joy is the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence TX
Perfect for a tranquil getaway, with amenities like AC, WiFi & covered backporch, Guests can relax in comfort viewing the pond & wildlife. Enjoy all that Somerville and surrounding areas has to offer when you stay at our place.

I love the outdoors. There is nothing better waking up with the birds singing until getting to wet the line and bring in some fish.

It wasn't so much the neighborhood. It was about the house and the pond outback. The covered outdoor porch itself was a big contributor as well.

The pond and two other ponds available for fishing anytime are in the back yard.
We are also close to Big Creek Park and Birchcreek Park on Somerville Lake.
Somerville hosts a market days first weekend of every month.
Not far from Round Top where the Antique Festival is every spring/fall and even a short winter festival in January.
Chappell Hill also is a quaint small town with Bluebonnet Festival in April and the Scarecrow Festival in October
We are also close to Big Creek Park and Birchcreek Park on Somerville Lake.
