Our stay was really smooth. The house was overall good, but lacked some basic items that can easily be supplied by owner such as trash cans, bowels, knives, etc. Location and communication with host was very good.

Nice place

The house was very clean and nice. We didnt have hot water the first night and the owner immediately sent someone over to fix it. She was very gracious about this. My bed was very comfortable, but my son said his room didnt have shades on the windows, which affected his sleep. The amenities were decent.

Great communication. Check in was easy and flexible. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The upstairs bed was extremely comfortable. The mini split in upstairs bedroom and the window AC in downstairs bedroom worked great. New refrigerator with cool ice spheres. It was great having access to the garage.House has great bones. It is undergoing lots of upgrades in between rentals, so expect a little dust and work in progress. Kitchen, upstairs and downstairs bathroom renovations look almost complete. The rest is still in progress.

Very spacious and located in a nice area

I had a really easy time checking into this rental property. You could smell the paint so I figured it was new, small things like no Wi-Fi and the occasional screw were no big deal. I’m not sure if it was a window open without a screen or what but there were mayflies all around. Nonetheless we had a great time and the host was very communicative.

Very mixed review

Check-in time was listed with VRBO as 2 PM. We got there around 3:30 but the house was being cleaned and wasn't ready until 4 PM.However, we were unable to open the lockbox and did not get into the house until some time after 4. It turns out the owner changed the lockbox code from what had been sent to us in the VRBO directions.The house was very spacious and the kitchen and dining area were very nice. However, other than beds, dining table with four chairs, and two seater futon, there was no furniture. No dressers or bureaus, and no place to sit and relax comfortably. The futon was not comfortable to sit on nor were the dining chairs comfortable for relaxing or lounging around. One bedroom was empty of any adult furniture whatsoever. For a three bedroom house advertised as sleeping four people, there should have been at least four comfortable places to sit and relax. Instead there was only one futon couch that sat two that was not comfortable.The house is advertised as having three bedrooms with with sleeping accommodations for four (master bed, twin bed and a futon to convert into a twin bed). However, the futon was not long enough to accommodate a full size adult without feet and head resting upon 'armrests' at either end of the futon... very uncomfortable. AND THERE WERE NO LINENS FOR THE FUTON ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND. There were not even extra linens for the other two beds that could be used for the Futon.

We recently renovated this property, and wanted to open it up to guests as a simple, nice, affordable place to stay near the Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Edgewater Beach, University Circle, and Cuyahoga National Valley Park.

Why they chose this property

A humble neighborhood, with diversity, and includes two city council members a block over. The main appeal is a quieter neighborhood, with proximity to many of Cleveland's amenities and sightseeing destinations.
