Featured are a huge, fenced yard, a classic front porch, large, sunny deck with gas and charcoal grills, living room with deep, wood-burning fireplace with great draw, dining room seating ten, and a game room with ping pong, pool, foosball and pinball.

Also featured are a 75-inch surround-sound TV in the skylit family room, a player/standard piano in the living room, high-speed fiberoptic internet and gleaming hardwood floors throughout.

Walk to the historic village of Old Greenwich with its charming shops and popular restaurants and to the Old Greenwich elementary school and train that is only a one-hour ride to NYC

Jog or bike to the beach.

Included are all linens, kitchen equipment, dishes, glasses, cutlery, Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker, 2 and 4-cup French presses, and a 4-piece toaster.

There are many dishes, platters, pots and pans, an electric fondue pot, blender, Hamilton Beach mixer & juicer, ice cream maker, and all manner of cookware and food-preparation equipment.

There is a Joovy high chair, Pack 'N Play crib/playpen, hair dryers in all the bathrooms, and an iron and ironing board.

Pets are welcome. Traveling senior owner retains separate studio.

All expenses are included! Gas, water, electricity, cable, high-speed Wifi, grounds care and trash removal. There is a separate laundry room.

Jim, the host, is incredibly responsive! We have stayed at his charming property a number of times! An old-world beach house with games in the basement and comfy sofas in the family room. Old Greenwich is a wonderful place to walk. If you’re energetic, it is an easy walk (or drive) to the beach!

Excellent experience staying at Jim’s place. Perfect for our wedding weekend!

Jim was such a responsive and helpful host. The house was a perfect getaway and preparation spot for my wedding weekend. Jim responded within minutes both leading up and during my stay. He was endlessly accommodating and made th stay perfect. I would definitely rent again! The location is perfect for a stay in Old Greenwich with quick access to the beach, while also being close to 95 and central Greenwich.

Wonderful family reunion

We stayed at Jim’s home for a family reunion and had a wonderful time. The house is well equipped for large groups and has a great games room for pool, ping pong and a pinball machine. We enjoyed group dinners on the deck and everything was easy to find and as advertised in the listing. Jim was very helpful and proactively communicated to make sure we had all the information about the property as well as some free beach passes - thank you! We would definitely return to this property again.

Lovely Old Connecticut Charm

We all really enjoyed our Christmas stay! The owner is very helpful, responsive and friendly. He even ordered a high chair and portable crib for the property so we could use it over the holidays.

Terrific location and yard - very basic accommodation

The house location, in one of the prettiest coastal towns in the NE, is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, and the backyard is large and private. Jim, the owner, is extremely helpful and responsive to any fixable issues. The house interior is well worn which is not terrible, but it would have been useful to know there is only one small older bathroom for the four bedrooms on the second level - which was not great for us nor what we expected. Separately, the master has its own bathroom. The “third” bathroom is a small corner shower in the laundry room which is in the middle of the family/dining room and the “half” bath is in the unfinished basement with a strange sort of curtain arrangement. The photos of the house are not recent and the big bright room with sliders shown on the lower level now has beds, with little space and the outside is overgrown, making the room dark. We could not use this lower level which was disappointing. Jim’s accommodation does also have an outside entrance, but is within the house on the first floor, below the master bedroom and above lower level, and unexpectedly Jim was in the house for our entire stay. Not ideal, but we all love Old Greenwich!

Beautiful home for holiday!!

From start to finish, was an exceptional experience. We couldn’t have found a nicer place. The owner was extremely helpful with communication regarding the stay- all the necessary details and also really accommodating with check-in. Pleasing a grown family of 8 was not an easy task, but everyone really enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the home- and even though there was so much space we all came together in the bright family room and had the best stay. Each said they wanted to come back and rent this home again. The proximity to town and the beach was perfect. We had everything we needed and more! As I mentioned to the owner, it was so nice to see my young adults off of their phones and spending time together. The checkerboard table was a hit! Thank you again Jim!!

Large, spacious and great location

6 colleagues stayed here for a business trip! It was perfect in teens if size and location. A very old fashioned and classic home! The only negative I have is for a large house, it really requires a deep clean every 2-3 months if renting out. Some areas of the house were not great. Other than that no issues and very accommodating!

Old Greenwich gathering place

This is an absolutel lovely older home in a beautiful neighborhood. Large living room areas with a player piano to entertain us. Lovely deck and back yard. With 6 bedrooms, it was perfect for a family gathering while we attended a wedding. Next to the ceremony, being able to stay together and relax made all the difference to our stay. And a big Thank you for the beach passes, it allowed us to have a great picnic on the beach on a tight schedule.

Relaxing family reunion

Perfect location and nice and spacious

Jim was great to work with. The house was nice and spacious for a big family. A little outdated and could use some small upgrades to make the stay even better but all in all his home worked out great for us. He was very accommodating, the location was great and no complaints

Great stay

We had a great time here. The house is big with plenty of beds, a big kitchen and two living areas. Jim was extremely quick and thorough when answering questions we had. Location was perfect. 10 of us stayed here and we never felt too cramped. Would love to return!

An amazing house with a wonderful host, would definitely stay here again!

The house is VERY spacious and comfortable. There was no shortage of places to sit and relax. The owner Jim is meticulous and very kind. We had a group of 14 stay and hosted a small party for our daughter’s first Birthday. This was the perfect space to entertain and relax. Thanks so much Jim!

Charming and Spotless Greenwich Getaway

We loved our stay in Old Greenwich! A group of us rented for the New Year's Weekend and it was perfect. It was super clean with a great kitchen with everything we needed to cook together. A charming fireplace and comfortable beds and furnishings. It has a huge back yard ( which our dogs loved ) and is in a beautiful neighborhood close enough to walk to the beach. Jim was easy to communicate with and was very responsive and made it all very easy. We would stay here again and hope to visit again soon.

Comfortable for large family

This comfortable house had plenty of room for our family of ten. We liked having two sitting areas and enjoyed the living room fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing many meals - including Thanksgiving dinner - for our large group and the dining room table accommodated us all. Beautiful neighborhood and we drove down to the park on the point where we could see NYC in the distance. Took a field trip to Grace Farms.

Clean and adorable!

The host, Jim was just amazing! He went out and bought special spices and extra virgin olive oil for us. He knew we were having a party to celebrate our mom turning 90 and had everything he could ready for us! The absolute best part was that he LET us have a party at his home. Many VRBO places turned us down because we were hosting a party on Saturday. We had a total of 15 family members joining us from as far away as Iowa, California and Maine! We were quiet and comfortable and grateful he let us have a family gathering.

Quaint, Quiet and Peacefull

We had an amazing time staying at this lovely home in Greenwich. It fit our needs perfectly. Large rooms with comfortable beds and AC when needed. We had 3 little ones under 3 years old and this house was great. Huge backyard for them to run and play and plenty of space inside for playing as well. Great kitchen with everything you may need to cook with. Neighborhood is very quiet and great to walk in. Big playground within walking distance and the beach is only a few minute drive and you could totally bike to it. Jim is a great host and responded promptly if we had any questions.
