This was an exceptional property! We had 6 adults and 2 babies with more than enough room for everyone to have space and parking 4 vehicles. The pond was such a wonderful part of our weekend! Memories were made, laughter was had, and we plan on returning! Thank you for sharing your home!!
Our family enjoyed the opportunity to get away, enjoy the nature space of the property, connect and recharge. We loved sitting outside to enjoy meals by the pond and all the bird songs!
Beautiful tranquil property! It was the perfect get away we needed from our busy lives. The kids could run around and play and we were able to relax. We will definitely be back!

Thank you so much. I am so glad our place was the haven you were looking for.
I loved the grounds. The outdoor lawn and pond is a perfect place for a wedding. I am looking for somewhere to have my daughter‘s wedding next year and I will be asking the owner if it is possible to have a large event at this property. The home is roomie and there are enough bedrooms for my family as well as my daughter’s fiancé.The aesthetics of the home is exactly what I was looking to find
Nathan was exceptionally communicative and accommodating. He was responsive and supportive the whole way! As far as the property, in most ways it is wonderful but there were a number of reasons it fell short. For instance, the floors, though they appeared clean, turned the bottoms of everyone’s feet black after walking on them for only a few hours. Most of our 13 guests realized they could not go without shoes inside the home. Secondly, the primary bedroom had a prominent musty damp smell that originated from the bathroom and its shower was never able to be used because of a broken handle. All of the towels in the house carried the same musty smell so we took advantage of the included washer and dryer, ran a couple loads on hot, and discovered the washing machine leaking. Luckily, there were several handymen present and a simple filter clean later, we were back in business! One feature we really looked forward to was the available bbq area. Sadly, it was kind of a hot mess. The grill itself was filthy and there were concrete blocks scattered everywhere which created trip hazards. Additionally, the main oven struggled to heat up but luckily we discovered the other ovens worked normally, so it was just the one meal that took forever to finish preparing. All that said, we still felt the sanctuary vibes and had a great trip. Memories were made and fun and relaxation was had by all. I hope this feedback helps and thanks again for being such a great host to work with!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — and for the kind words about our communication, that means a lot. We're glad the trip still felt relaxing overall, but we take the issues you ran into seriously. The bathroom shower instructions have been updated to make the handle position clearer for guests. We've reset the BBQ area and cleared the concrete blocks that were creating a trip hazard. The washer and dryer have both been replaced with new units. We're also looking closely at the flooring and oven performance to make sure they're meeting the standard we want for every guest. We appreciate you taking the time to give us this level of detail — it genuinely helps us improve,
This house is huge with many bedrooms and perfect for multiple families or some other larger group. Everything was clean and the heat pumps heated the house well. Google maps guided us to the nice neighbor's yard. I wonder how many late night visitors she has in her yard yearly. Pay attention to the number on the mailbox.
We had our annual "friendcation" here this year at Cedar Creek! The house was exactly what we needed. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were clean and accommodating for our group of 7 adults and 5 kids. The kitchen was spacious and mostly stocked with what you would need. The property grounds were amazing! We loved exploring around the pond and creek and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. I only give this rental 4/5 stars because we were very caught off guard by the trailer set up being right out front of the property. We felt the listing was a little misleading when it comes to the grounds keepers as we thought they would be somewhere further away from the actual house. I would recommend putting a photo and better describing the set up in the listing so people know before booking. This made the experience feel less comfortable but it was overall still very enjoyable. It's a beautiful property and roomy house with everything you need to have a great vacation. Thanks for having us!

Thank you so much for choosing Cedar Creek for your annual friendcation — we’re thrilled you had such a wonderful time! It means the world to us that the house was exactly what your group of 7 adults and 5 kids needed. We’re so glad the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms felt clean and comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, and especially that everyone loved exploring the pond, creek, and wide-open grounds. Hearing that the kids had plenty of space to run and play is pure joy!
We truly appreciate your kind 4-star feedback and the thoughtful note about the groundskeeper’s trailer. You’re absolutely right that the listing states there is an on-site groundskeeper, and we’re sorry the setup felt closer to the house than you expected — that wasn’t the comfortable experience we want for our guests. Your feedback is incredibly helpful, and we’re already taking action: we are in the process of moving the groundskeeper further away from the house. That relocation should be fully completed by the second week of August.
Thank you again for the lovely review and for recommending the property. We’re so happy you still had a beautiful, enjoyable stay and hope to welcome your group back for another friendcation soon!
Warmest wishes,
Nathan
