Wonderful property with a small brook right behind it. It was lovely listening to it on the deck. Would be good for cross country skiing or snowshoeing as the Catamount trial access is right outside the property entrance. Very clean and host communicated everything in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

I'm a local host with a small but growing list of close-to-the-mountain condos and bespoke standalone homes throughout the Mad River Valley.

I've been in hospitality for over 30 years, and take pride in providing the kind of easy-peasey, welcoming guest experience I like to have when I travel.

We are also dedicated to making sure some of the benefit of having vacation rentals in the community stays in the community, which is why 100% of the cleaning and maintenance fees we collect are paid to the people who do the work.

That is not typically the case for the big hosting companies who treat local labor as a profit center to boost their numbers.

Why they chose this property

Peaceful and yet centrally located off Rt 17, The Battleground has a great vibe in addition to a great outdoor pool in the summer.

Kids love the playground and they can ride bikes through the quiet complex without fear of traffic.

What makes this property unique

This particular Battleground unit has been completely redecorated with high-end furniture and accessories.
