A short walk to bay or beach access.

I personally designed and built this home myself for my wife and three kid's to feel open with lots of natural light. Its a family retreat spot for my family and I hope it is one for your family as well! Beach access is a 7 minute walk or a short drive. The Beach access is free and you can drive your car directly on the beach, just be careful for soft sand if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle. Drum bay is a 1 minute walk, and there is a private boat/kayak launch. The home was built with all of the modern conveniences and decorated for relaxation. Weather you want to enjoy a cup of coffee on the ocean side balconies that are 15 feet by 35 feet long which features plenty of seating and tables for enjoyment, watch a movie on the 75" smart t.v. in the living room, or escape to enjoy a sun set on the west side balcony 12 feet by 12 feet which features 4 high chairs with cup holders (watch out for those sunsets in the afternoon, they are amazing). Kids can enjoy a toy area close to the working space. The chefs kitchen features a new LG electric oven and stove top and seats 8 stools on the island and peninsula. Enjoy happy hour with a mini bar drink close to bay balcony door. The private sitting area on the 2nd floor has an one of a kind view of the bay/intercoastal canal. It also has a 55" smart t.v. to enjoy your favorite show. All three bedrooms upstairs have there own private bathroom with walk in shower. Also all bedrooms upstairs have a 40" smart t.v. in each bedroom to enjoy. Escape to the upper ocean side balcony to find (2) Colombian Hammocks and a swing to relax and listen to the surf. Also don't forget the 1st drive up level that features a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water, picnic table, BBQ grill and cornhole game for the those exciting moments.

A few fun facts:
I purchased the land in July of 2023, and began construction January 2024. I was determined to build a home on the Texas Gulf Coast. I surveyed the entire coast line and studied it from Galveston to south padre island. I then asked my wife where she wanted to have the home, and she said Galveston over south padre. So Galveston is was and we settled on freeport.
My sister from Minnesota decorated the entire home. This is my 2nd vrbo and she decorated both of them. check out my other vrbo. Its a 5200 sq.ft. home with a pool in Harlingen TX.
