"Wonderful stay! The property was absolutely spotless upon arrival and looked exactly like the photos. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was peaceful yet convenient to the town We would definitely stay here again!"

The check in/out process was super easy. I was able to get in contact with the host immediately and he responded quickly. The river was beautiful! If you’re wanting a place to swim with kids, this is not the river spot for you though. The current is quite strong. The only downside was that there are no extra blankets in the house and only enough plates for 6 people so you’re doing dishes multiple times a day if you’re eating at the house a lot. Overall this was a wonderful stay and beautiful home. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Thank you again for staying with us. I agree that while there are no rapids at the property and children can enjoy the water near the shoreline, the Rogue River can be swift in places. Children should always wear life jackets, and anyone who is not a strong swimmer should remain close to shore. We enjoy floating the river or placing chairs in the shallow water near the shore. Thank you as well for your helpful feedback about the blankets and plates. I’ll be adding more of both to the river house. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and found the home clean and comfortable.

House is great! New and clean. Host was very responsive. Beds are HARD but living room full of reclining seats was a fun touch for watching movies! We would definitely rent again!

We’re sorry the beds felt firmer than expected. They are memory-foam mattresses, and we’ve learned that in colder winter temperatures they can feel stiffer at first. To address this, we purchased brand-new 4-inch pillow-top mattress toppers for every bed. Unfortunately, they were still packaged in the laundry room cabinet and our cleaning team missed installing them before your arrival. That’s on us, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’ve since corrected this so future guests will have a much softer sleep experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love the opportunity to host you again.

John and John were fabulous hosts! They responded to all of my questions quickly; including recommendations on how to safely float the river. The house is in a perfect location! Our adult children spent several hours floating. They were able to begin a float right off the property. It was also the perfect spot for our family to meet halfway between Salem and Arcata.The house was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. It stayed cool in the hot weather. Additionally, all of the appliances were clean and easy to use. We brought our 2-year old granddaughter and she had a blast playing in the little hot tub that was kept cooler. She also loved playing in the fenced backyard, there was even a sprinkler for her to run through. We brought her trike which she was able to ride in the clean garage.Thank you John and John! We hope to be back!

Our recent stay was relaxing. The home was clean and comfortable. The river was easily viewed from the back balcony while chatting with family. The neighborhood was quiet morning and evening. The house was conveniently located close to downtown Grants Pass. We found many delicious restaurants and interesting boutiques and the Arts. Check in and check out was very easy and the Hosts were responsive to all questions and concerns.

Why they chose this property

Finding an acre of land that also had easy access to the river was a priority for us. Once we purchased the land we built the house with the back facing the river which you can see from windows inside the house as well as the covered backyard 2nd floor deck.
