I usually don't leave reviews because I'm super picky and it's not fair to say allllll the things I had a problem with just because I'm picky! But we really loved this place. It was clean and incredibly well cared for. You could really tell the owners put a lot of thought into the small things that make your stay more comfortable. The location was great, convenient to all the things we wanted to do. 10/10. No notes. One of the best short term rentals we've used. Would stay again.

This cabin was the perfect fall getaway! It was pristinely clean, romantic, and the best cabin I’ve ever stayed in at RRG and I’ve stayed at a lot of them. Me and my husband cooked every night in the luxury kitchen and soaked in the hot tub post-hike. It felt like I was a very proud monkey in the trees! I will always remember the stunning, peaceful views and coziness after a hard days hike and watching football. I attempted to finish a 1,000 piece puzzle in 3 nights and didn’t get it done. Left it to you all to enjoy. Can’t wait to come back again soon!!!You are amazing hosts!Cheers,Tori & Jay

This house is elegant, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owners have thought of everything. The minimalist design was delightfully devoid of clutter, so we could focus our attention on the beautiful views outside the large windows. But somehow the owners provided for all of our needs/wants -- from the numerous coasters for our drinks, the basket of towels by the door to the hot tub deck, the high quality dishware in the kitchen, the Kcups ready for our use, the lighted walkway to the firepit, the electric fireplaces for a little extra coziness, the shower products and handsoaps, and the individual lights in each bunkbed. Black Moon Hollow is beautiful, and the location can't be beat. We easily got to different hiking areas, like Natural Bridge and Wittleton. We enjoyed an afternoon at Hop's, just 10 minutes drive away. We were also close to Gorge Underground. Our family had a great experience and have already talked about returning.

Stuff that was awesome: 1) Location- the house is just 15 minutes from both the Natural Bridge Resort Park and the Muir Valley, both must-do locations for hiking and climbing. Red Point BBQ and ziplines are right around the corner, and cave kayaking just just up the road. 2) Communication- Mike was super responsive in advance, during, and after the stay, and check in/out were completely seamless. 3) Amenities- the pool table is full size and high quality, including the cues and balls. Doesn't feel "cheap" like many rental house features. The arcade machine on the wall was a huge hit with the teens. Hot tub was in great shape. Outdoor dining table sat all 10 of us easily. Smart TV's had auto log-out at our checkout time 4) Little Extras- there were ample garbage bags, a full bottle of dishwasher soap, a started pack of laundry soap, plenty of paper towels, a stocked Keurig machine, high-quality towels by the hot tub.Stuff that wasn't quite as awesome: 1) Dead bugs- spotlessly clean when we got there, but we ended up having to sweep up dead bugs several times. Not a huge deal with a cabin in the woods, but don't be surprised by it. 2) Deposit seemed large, nearly 100% of the spend. 3) the road is fairly rutted-out. Bring your 4WD car and be ready to straddle tracks to get to the house.Overall, a great stay in a beautiful new place!

House was delightful and the area was great fun. We took a short family vacation(3 teenagers) and had a blast zip lining, hiking, Jeep driving and cave kayaking. Bbq restaurant was fantastic and The Hive spa had a surprisingly lovely massage. House was quiet and relaxing. Dirt road in was as described and we recommend being groceries in with you as the stores were far away and a bit sparce. Highly recommend!
