The property was a great setup and location, but we suspected it had not been cleaned ahead if our arrival (hair in the beds, razor in the shower, cup in the living room) so that impacted our experience. The host was very responsive, refunded the cleaning fee, and offered to have it cleaned while we were there. They also brought us more towels when we asked, so the responsiveness was appreciated.

My dog and I had a wonderful time in OKC. The house was perfect for us, especially the extra-large yard, and had everything we needed for a relaxing home away from home. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Just a few minor issues there were dirty towels left in the shower from cleaning. I’m assuming, I placed them in the laundry room area on a shelf. There was another dirty towel left outside underneath the patio table. The refrigerator was also not cleaned. Well there was drips of items still on the shelves. None of that bothered our stay.I’m just letting the host know that whoever is doing their cleaning is perhaps not going back to double check that they’ve gotten everything taken care of. The back porch light was burned out, but that of course can’t be helped. You never know when those things are gonna happen! Other than that, we had a lovely stay and very much appreciate the hospitality. Everything was just fine.

Hi. We are Bryan and Kelly. We were both born and raised right here in Oklahoma, and after 28 years of marriage and living in places like Spain, L.A., and Hawaii, we chose to live in OKC. While we love to travel and stay in rentals across the globe, nothing the prairieland, the people and the laid-back lifestyle of OKC.
We have poured our background in construction and civil service-and our love for world class design-into creating a space that feels like a boutique retreat. We host because we love sharing the legendary Oklahoma hospitality we grew up with.

Why they chose this property

We say OKC is a “big small town”. I (Kelly) grew up a few blocks from here and my family still lives in that home. The neighborhood perfectly captures the quiet, established feel of OKC. Safe walking area and truly lovely neighbors. It is a place where the trees are mature and the pace of life is slow, and you are just minutes away from the best of the city: Oak, Penn Square Mall, Lake Hefner, Downtown, Midtown, Bricktown, the zoo, Paycom center, Cowboy Hall of Fame, Remington Park etc.

Staying here feels like taking a deep breath. The home invites you to slow down, put your feet up and enjoy that “laid-back Oklahoma lifestyle” that we love.
