Upon arrival, your senses will immediately be consumed by the fresh alpine air and sweet scent of pine. Take it all in as you unpack lunch at the picnic tables or sip a local brew on the front deck.

Grillmasters won’t hesitate to test their skills on the gas grill or electric smoker, while appetizers are prepared inside in the kitchen, fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. The kitchen also features a crock pot, waffle maker, electric roaster, a full set of Waterless cookware, and more for your culinary convenience. Be sure to do your shopping before arrival, as the location is secluded.

With a full stomach, venture out to explore the nearby hiking trails just beyond the front gate. Return home to unwind in the great room, highlighted by a two-story wall of windows and a stunning river rock fireplace emulating a classic cabin-in-the-woods feel. Find a show to watch on the flat-screen satellite TV or curl up for a nap on the soft leather sofa.

Feel your stress melt away in the calming heat of the dry sauna and, afterward, drift off to dreamland in the private master bedroom boasting a king bed and custom log furnishings.

The rest of your group will have plenty of sleeping options between the remaining bedrooms.

Stroll down to the front gate to embark on a hiking, mountain biking or four-wheeling adventure, or hop in the car and drive 10 minutes north to Fairplay Beach for an afternoon of fishing and rafting!

More outdoor opportunities eagerly await about an hour away in Salida, home to Monarch Ski Area and awesome ziplining tours. Alternatively, head up to Breckenridge, a 45-minute drive away, with your hiking boots laced up and ready to go. Come the colder season, the area offers award-winning ski runs and thrilling sleigh rides for the kids.

History buffs won’t find it hard to get their fix as they choose between a historic walking tour in Como, a driving tour along Weston Pass or a train ride under the Royal Gorge Bridge.

Give the chef a day off and choose from a plethora of dining options nearby. Find all your breakfast and lunch favorites with a Mexican twist at Brown Burro Cafe or keep it simple with a coffee and bagel at The Java Moose. - NOTE: Park County has trimmed back the maximum occupancy for Highcreek Hideaway to 12 guests. The home has enough beds to sleep 21 guests, and has been hosting up to 21 guests for years. If you have more than 12 guests, please contact Evolve and we may be able to accommodate your entire group
