Tranquility Base is a short walk to the beach and provides beach chairs and a fully stocked kitchen. The house was clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed the quick access to Kure Beach, Fort Fisher, and restaurants. The screened in porch was perfect for eating takeout.

Beautiful, clean and plenty of privacy

Perfect rental for our family group! The only downside is it’s a little walk to the beach access but the privacy is worth it.

Wonderful beach house

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Kure Beach. The house was huge and everyone had room to relax. Easy walk to beach, and Ft Fisher beach was the best! Would be happy to stay again.

Christmas at the Beach

The weather was perfect and with the beach just across the road, we were able to carry chairs and enjoy the sun in the 65 degree warmth. Tranquility Base is always very clean, and ready for us upon our arrival. We always enjoy returning.

Nice large house just off the beach

Lovely home, great amenities just off the beach. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with nice appliances. Gas stove a big plus.

Property was clean (a big thing for me) and was just as described in the listing. Plenty of plates, bowls, silverware in the kitchen as well as a good coffee pot, and things to cook with. We cooked most nights. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the big table for playing games. The house was roomy and the furniture was nice. It was also nice to be on a quiet street as we had dogs and didn't have to worry about being right on the main road if a dog accidentally ran out the door.

Beautiful Home

Great Place

Another great week at Kure Beach. Tranquility Base has been our vacation home for 2 years. Wonderful homemade memories here!! Looking forward to next year.

Tranquility Bliss

Easy check in Sunday evening, very nice, clean, well furnished house with plenty of space for our family of 10. Easy walk to beach access, and it isn’t right on the main drag. We really enjoyed our five day trip. Worth the 9 hour ride to get here.
