It was just ok.

The cabin is in great condition, but only has 2 beds. No sleeper sofa anymore instead is a pretty new sectional. The property is in a rather run down area too so we weren’t comfortable outside. The lake view is lovely like in the photos, but when we walked over to go fishing there was animal dung everywhere. Kitchen drawers need a good cleaning, and the fridge is rather noisy. Not bad, but we won’t be back.

Beautiful getaway

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I had an unexpected free weekend and decided we would like to drive out to Broken Bow. Michelle was so sweet and accommodating and made this last minute trip possible. Normally when we come to Broken Bow, we stay in or near the park in the luxury, two story cabins. It was a nice change of pace to stay closer to town and this little log cabin ranch was absolutely precious. It was very cozy and we adored having access to the beautiful pond and the friendly and curious animals there. The cabin had everything we needed including towels and hand soap, just bring your own shampoo/body wash, although there was a basket under the sink of all kinds of little bottles of these as well. Both beds were very comfortable, as was the cozy sofa in the living room where we spent the evening watching movies. I loved the decor and found it beautiful and tasteful, and personally I appreciated not being surrounded by stuffed, dead things, which is often the decor of choice in these cabins. Pretty flower arrangements and framed artwork of wildlife was classy and beautiful. The check out procedure was extremely easy, simply put the soiled towels in the hamper and tidy up...nothing I wouldn’t have done anyway! Thank you Michelle for sharing your little piece of heaven with us, I feel rejuvenated and ready for the week!!

Nice cabin near town

  • 4 of 5

The cabin isn’t located in the hilly area along with all the new cabins. It’s quiet and other than cars on road nearby, you don’t hear a thing. We enjoyed our stay and will probably rent this cabin again.

Nice place for our Family!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed there for 4 nights. It was close to a Wal-Mart which was good because we forgot our kids suitcase at home! The kitchen was nice but we did have to go to Wal-Mart to get some cooking supplies. I made breakfast lunch and dinner there. We left the potato masher there...enjoy! Also need a cheese grater. We tried fishing every day but never caught anything. Loved the rooms and the patio. We played games outside most days and had a campfire every night. They provided firewood the first night which was really nice! If you are going to do more than one night bring your own. It is a very pleasant place to stay at a very reasonable price! We hope to be back someday!
