Welcome to our newly renovated historic cottage in the heart of riverside downtown Savannah, TN. Surrounded by beautiful period homes, the cottage offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury, all within walking distance of the Cherry Mansion, Tennessee Street Park, Main Street, and beloved local events such as Christmas on Main and music festivals.

Take a short stroll to view the Christmas lights at Tennessee Street Park or enjoy the newly installed carousel. Spend the day exploring Pickwick Lake and Shiloh National Military Park, or simply relax and unwind inside, the ideal base for both adventure and rejuvenation.

Inside, the home features a newly renovated bathroom with high-end finishes, a fully stocked kitchen with a gas range, Nespresso, and nugget icemaker, and even a sofa bed with complete bedding for flexible sleeping arrangements. The primary bedroom and bunk room each include a TV, with a large TV in the living room for cozy movie nights. Enjoy comfortable showers with a tankless water heater, and step outside to unwind in the private backyard.

Unwind outdoors in the cozy seating area, complete with a cushioned sofa and charming bistro table- the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine. You’ll also enjoy the rare convenience of covered on-site parking, a unique amenity among local Airbnbs.

The home is filled with character and original charm. As with many historic cottages, there are some unlevel areas, so it may be less suitable for guests with significant mobility challenges. The neighborhood is wonderful because it is just steps away from the Tennessee Street Park and Main Street so it is easily walkable to attractions and in an extremely safe area.

What makes this property unique

It is the only historic short term rental property in the area and it has tons of character. Being in the middle of all the historic homes in the area is so much fun. Behind the property stands a large historic private home which used to serve as a bed and breakfast known as the White Elephant.
