About this property

2-bedroom house on The Raquette River in fabulous Potsdam with cool AC

This 2 BR house/duplex is located right on the Raquette River. You will have access to a large yard with lawn games, fire pit, grills and kayaks. There is a small private beach accessible from the property. Colleges and downtown are a close walk with bars and restaurants only a ten minute walk away. You can have fun and host a party, I just ask that you don’t break anything and clean up after yourself. Pets are ok. There is a sectional couch and a futon so you can sleep 8 people if you want to pile in.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This can be a quiet getaway or a place to host a large party. It is tucked away in the corner with a huge yard on the water with kayaks for all to use

Great place convenient to downtown Potsdam. Very warm on the coldest day of the year! Excellent communications from the host and easy process. Highly recommended!

The place was well-located, clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower! The host was friendly and accommodating. He provided us with a folding table and enough chairs so we could have a family dinner there. We were also able to have our grandkids over for a movie on Christmas Day-- lots of room to snuggle on the couch in front of a giant tv. It was way too cold and snowy outside to take advantage of the big backyard on the river but summer would be great at this place. Our dog was very content to take long walks down the well plowed streets as far as the beginning of the main drag. This place suited our needs perfectly!

The rooms were cute. The bed was clean. The host was friendly enough but he wasn’t prepared. We got in half hour later than check in. Blinds were broken in bedrooms,remote for tvs had no batteries in them. Coffee pots weren’t clean. Stepped on loose screw on rug in kitchen and found 4 other nails on floor in dining area. Outside had no fire pit and outside plastic table and chairs were very dirty. Grills were very dirty. I did not see it listed as a duplex. Year renters on other side had party with loud music until midnight. We never stayed the second night. I can not say we liked or enjoyed it. Would not recommend it to anyone.
