We loved our stay! Perfect for a group of 6. It was clean and the rooms were nice and cool. Couple of spots in the house were dead spots in the floor, so be careful. It was all we needed! Close to everything too.

Loved the quiet little neighborhood with all the friendly people. Three of us stayed for two nights. The house was cozy and a good bargain. Dog friendly.

We loved our stay at Magnolia Cottage. Great location- perfect for our needs. But the place needs some maintenance. Areas of sub-flooring appear to be rotten leaving squishy spots in the floor. One spot was so soft we lost our balance each time we hit it. The dryer had a sign on it that stated it didn’t work. The outside light on the deck didn’t work. The tub was slow to drain. The combo lock didn’t work - but fortunately, there was a key in the lockbox. And the Keurig wouldn’t power on. Fortunately, there was a very nice drip coffee maker. All of these things were annoyances but we were a pretty easy going group so didn’t let it spoil our trip. I reported all of this and was assured the property manager would address. If these things are addressed we would consider staying here again next year.

Weekend away

This was a great place to stay, 3 miles from the Fort and in a quiet and very friendly neighborhood. Great biking area and far enough away from the craziness of the south end of the Island to be extremely relaxing. The yard isn’t huge but plenty of room for dogs to move around and watch things going on!

Wonderful Home

The home was very clean and functional for our family. The only hiccup was while attempting to access the property for the first time, but we were immediately helped and had no further trouble. Definitely recommend this charming home for other families looking for a getaway at St. Simons Island!
