Located at the end of a secluded country road, Rockin’ Star Ranch is a luxurious getaway where time seems to stand still. RSR is about escaping urban life to re-connect with family, friends and all that nature has to offer. This Rockin Star Ranch VRBO listing is actually 8 different cabins located on the ranch (sleeps 33+adults. even more with kids) Entire ranch can be booked under this listing or each individual cabin can be booked under its own listing. Our amenities include an outdoor kitchen, pool, large pastures, tire swings, courtyards, cabins, fishing ponds (catch and release), the woods, and a commercial sized kitchen big enough to prepare all of your meals! We are a working ranch….Interested in horseback riding? A hayride? Maybe want to experience a day in the life of a cowboy? Ask us about booking your experience today!

Our 8 cabins are;
Garden cottage (sleeps 3 w/ 1 king and a twin chair)
Patio cottage (sleeps 4+ w/ 1 king and 2 twins)
Rising Star (sleeps 4 w/ 1 queen and twin trundle in loft)
Western star (sleeps 4 w/ 1 queen and twin trundle in loft)
Shooting star (sleeps 4 w/ 1 queen and twin trundle in loft)
Twinkling star (sleeps 4 w/ 1 queen and twin trundle in loft)

Amazing place !!

This place it’s amazing, I was there for my daughter birthday and everything was perfect ,really nice place we rent the whole property,the cabins are clean and the owner was super nice with us always there for us just in case we needed something! Definitely we are going back !!!

Fun experience!

Great Company Retreat

Delightful Trip

The property is amazing. Darrell and his sons were excellent. We had a very relaxing family trip and the grandkids got to experience horseback riding in the beautiful back pasture. We definitely plan to visit Rockin Star Ranch again!

Excellent Getaway

This was a work retreat for a very hardworking group of Team Managers. The location was convenient, yet secluded. Facilities were in generally excellent condition and staff was friendly, personable and attentive to any needs we had. Games, pool and comfort were in abundance. Awesome locaiton

Best Wedding Weekend Ever!

Don’t think twice! This place is amazing! Comfortable stay, great activities, wonderful place to get away and enjoy family and fun. Loved the animals, s’mores over fire pit, outside games, fishing pond, relaxing by the pool, outdoor kitchen, feeding cows. I can go on and on. We had 16 family members and will definitely make this a yearly trip!

Great getaway from the city

Quick drive up 290 to a quaint ranch. We had 8 families gather at the ranch for Memorial Day. Always a lot of fun. Use of industrial kitchen was helpful. The kids loved horseback riding lessons. Our second trip and we plan to go back! Thanks Darrel x2😀

The best family getaway

We rented the entire ranch for our family of 30 and we couldn’t have chosen better! The ranch has something for everyone. We loved the resort style pool and had a lot of good family time around the outdoor kitchen - they even have chefs who will come cook for you! The kids loved getting to see all the farm animals and Darrell was an excellent host - he made us feel right at home! I would definitely recommend this for families of all ages and sizes. Plenty of space without being too far from each other. We will definitely be back again in the future!

Perfect a Family Christmas Gathering

More than enough cabin space for our 12 kids and 8 adults. Kids loved playing in wide open spaces of the ranch and checking out all the animals. We appreciated all the ways our needs were met even going above and beyond what was stated in writing ie a tour of property on arrival, a firewood gathering trip for the kids, and extra facility access when weather was bad. Everyone left happy, so mission accomplished.

Best rental ever! Gorgeous property.

We rented the entire ranch to accommodate family & friends coming from out of town for my daughters wedding. Everyone was so impressed with the property and owners. Excellent communication, welcoming, friendly and clean! The only bad thing was most of us were busy dealing with wedding duties that we couldn’t explore and experience the entire property. We will be back for sure! Thank you Darrell!

Wonderful Family Thanksgiving!

What an amazing “ranch” gathering for Thanksgiving the Rockin Star Ranch was! Everything was perfect...the well-planned and appointed cottages, the large outdoor kitchen and gathering area, the catering kitchen and indoor dining area. The kids loved the fishing ponds and outdoor games. Watching the goats, feeding the pigs, seeing the horses were all fun for this group of city dwellers. The place was immaculate with everything you could need. The host, Darrell, was so nice and helpful with everything. We all loved the place and the experience! It was a memorable family time together!

A Real Texas Gem

Our family really enjoyed our stay. We used all the rooms and cottages and it worked out great for our large family for our annual vacation together. The rooms are all very well appointed and the propety is well-maintained. The ranch is in a beautiful serene settting in the hills outside Brenham. Awesome pool with waterfall. A great pond with a nice beach complete with hammocks for lounging. Darrell is a great host. He communicates well and goes out of his way to make sure things are taken care of for his guests. We will be back!

Company Retreat

I booked this property for a company retreat and couldn't of been happier. The grounds are beautiful and cabins are very comfortable. All are decorated beautifully and the two rooms in the arena have a shared kitchen and bath with walk in shower and all amenities. The outdoor kitchen has big grill to cook on, comfortable outdoor furniture and large TV. Pool is beautiful. The host, Darrell, went above and beyond in making this a great experience. I plan to share experience with everyone I know. There is also a huge, beautiful building for weddings and events. Will be back!!

Awesome for any size group!

My company just had an amazing weekend at Rockin' Star! Darrell was extremely responsive to any question or request from booking to checking out. They treated us like family the entire weekend. The grounds are absolutely beautiful-kind of "ranch meets luxury" feel. So much to do. So relaxing! Several of our team members plan to come back with their families on their own and I plan on it as well. My team asked if we could make this an annual place to hold all of our kick-off meetings in the future. I speak for all of my company members who say "we highly recommend!"

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We had a family group of 32 people ranging from infants to great grandparents. Wonderful memories were made at the ranch! When we had a couple of hiccups, Darrell was very responsive and quick to help out. The grounds and cabins are beautiful. One thing to note though is that there is not actually an outdoor kitchen. It is more of an outdoor seating area with countertops, as none of the features of the kitchen were working ( fridge, grill). We did have plenty of grills on the property, and we used ice chests to compensate, so it wasn’t that big of a deal but still worth mentioning in case someone is expecting those features.

Rockin Reunion

This property is even more beautiful and comfortable than described. Everything was spectacular. Well equipped cabins, kitchens, pool area, barn. Host is outstanding, patient, thoughtful and helpful. Attention to details, stunning views, tons of activities. Event center gorgeous, stocked, clean, spacious. We had over 60 people playing bingo, building with legos, crafting, playing games, visiting and eating of course! Fantastic fun by all. Rockin Star is beyond rock star status! We will definitely return. Swimming pool beautiful, fishing pond awesome, pool table, ping pong, corn hole, outdoor kitchen made our Friday evening cook out easy, fun and spectacular. All ages (18 months-92 years young) enjoyed every second at Rockin Star Ranch.

Wedding Stay

We rented this beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding and also decided to stay the night of their wedding with a few of our guests and The bride and groom. I must say beautiful does not even begin to describe this place. It was heaven. Looking out at the fields and being able to watch the animals in the morning was breathtaking. Darrell has really put a lot of attention to every detail here and it shows. It was incredible to be able to have my daughter and son in laws wedding there. It was a dream come true for them. The stay there that evening we felt like we were home. Gayle, the event manager and Darrell we more than welcoming and accommodating. Even when we had a few hiccups at the reception Gayle was right there to lend a hand. I could not have asked for better hosts than them on all counts.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Rockin Star Ranch is a beautiful locale just outside of Brenham TX. We had a group of 20 ladies from our church gather here for a time to relax and renew our spirits and this was a great place to do just that. The host and staff were very attentive and took care of whatever we needed.

Great stay, great facilities, and Darrell was very accommodating.

Family retreat

Our multi-family group had a wonderful family reunion at Rockin' Star Ranch! We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cabins, the waterfall pool, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, the tire swings, and more. Darrell gave us a tour to welcome us to the property upon arrival. Our kids loved riding the horses in the arena, and Darrell's sons were so patient and friendly with all our first time riders. It truly made our trip extra special.
