James, thank you for the feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the house, the location, and our communication. We were surprised to hear about the slow drain, as nothing was mentioned to us during your stay. Had we known, we would have been happy to address it right away rather than having you deal with it yourself. The mattresses are all brand new, and comfort is certainly subjective. We’ve had many guests tell us they find them very comfortable, although we understand they won’t be the perfect fit for everyone. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything isn’t quite right. We’re very responsive and would much rather have the opportunity to help while you’re there than learn about an issue afterward. Ben & Lela

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the Rocket City theme, found the home clean and comfortable, and that the fenced yard worked well for your pet. It’s also great that the location was convenient for your visit—that’s exactly what we hope for. Regarding the pricing for a one-night stay, that’s a fair observation and we completely understand how it can feel higher on a per-night basis. Our standard minimum stay is actually two nights, but occasionally we open up single-night bookings to fill last-minute gaps in the calendar. Those stays are typically priced at a premium because they’re much harder to coordinate, and we still incur the full turnover cost—especially with whole-home cleanings, which are the same whether a guest stays one night or several. We’d love to have you back for a longer stay next time, where the overall value tends to balance out much more. Thanks again for staying with us!
