The Space:

If you're considering a fun, family getaway to the Oregon Coast, this very charming home is ready to be your home-away-from-home near the beach. Bring the family dogs along and enjoy all the features found both inside and outside this vacation rental including a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table with seating for four (great for family game nights), an open living area with a large flatscreen TV, and a yard with a gas grill and a firepit.



What's nearby:

Located on one of the main drags of Rockaway Beach, you'll be less then a half-mile's walk from the beach to comb for shells or fly kites at any time of the day. Head up to Lytle Lake where you can take a kayak or canoe out on the calm water and fish for smallmouth bass, perch, and rainbow trout. And when it's time to dine out, enjoy some local cuisine at places like Sand Dollar Restaurant & Lounge or Cowbell Cafe, and then finish up with some delicious ice cream from Sea Breeze.

Great spot

This is a great place, quiet safe neighborhood and the kids loved the games and legos. Securely fenced back yard and we had a great time, even through the rain.

Great Beach Getaway

This house is dated but very comfortable, well located and had a nice private backyard for our dog. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would go back again!

Cozy and vintage

Charming, very 70s, and well cared-for! We enjoyed our stay, great yard for kids/dog and great location, you can hear the ocean but not the traffic! Loved the layout, well-furbished kitchen. Only suggestion was that blankets and bedding could use a good washing, some old dog hair and mildew smells in one of the bedrooms. Other than that, very clean though. Would stay here again!

Cute nostalgic and near everything

This place was comfy and has it all. Ran on the beach, took nice walks and toured the shops. Had a great time. Only wish check out time was a bit later.

Cozy vintage cabin

Perfect cabin, just like it used to be on the Oregon Coast, casual and laid-back with no shiplap/blinding white paint or word art in sight. In a quiet neighborhood, quick walk to the beach and shops, fenced yard, cozy but charming kitchen and a wonderful vintage vibe. I stayed for a month and loved it!

Comfortable, well stocked getaway within walking distance to the beach

Pleasant and enjoyable. A little house maintenance would have made it perfect! Screen door handle broken. We got locked out 2 times. Neighbor rescued us the last time. I think he fixed the problem. Comforters on beds need to be washed Lots of stains on master room floor

Perfect Beach Vacation House

We had a great time at this house! Even though the lusting showed an unusable loft, there was plenty of room for my husband and I along with our two teens and their best friends. Plus our dog, who we were grateful to have a fenced backyard for. The walk to town and the beach was super quick as well. The beds were also very comfortable, and the foldout couch bed was big enough for two tall 15 year old boys to share. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Solid affordable beach rental

Overall, the house met the needs of my family. Location was great, nice little backyard and kitchen was (mostly) well stocked. The furniture definitely lived up to the 70s theme though. The pull out couch was so uncomfortable that we ended up putting the mattress on the ground for my 10 year old and the reclining chair was difficult to close back up. Although the kitchen came with 3(!?) different coffee makers, there was no pasta strainer and only one steak knife. Relatively minor blips in an otherwise great family vacation. Really appreciated having access to the hose in the backyard to be able to rinse off sand/salt from wetsuits and full sized washer and dryer were also nice so we could do a big load of towels during our stay. Walk to town/beach was super easy and really liked being in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds.
